Busy Monday today with client work, Effie, training and met my friend for a coffee 🙂

Effie slept better last night so I ended up with 4 hours 59 😅 which was great in comparison to what it has been the last week 😂

A little update on the last couple of days , I have been a little off of recently. I think the combination of new mum, working, getting childcare, fitting my own training in, Effie in a sleep regression phase (it’s like the newborn trenches) all got a lot 😅 I have been feeling quite overwhelmed with everything and I have figured that I have a few triggers that are causing a little worry for me, which is totally normal.

But I have realised I need to have a little break from posing clients in the studio and use that time to focus on my own training as if I only had limited childcare, being with clients was taking a priority. So just focusing on my coaching clients, Effie and training these next few weeks 🙂

A huge factor for many illnesses can be sleep and resting enough. When we sleep we recover, and if we are under recovered our immune system is compromised, so any bug or virus going around the gym you are more likely to catch.

Rest day for me today! I’ve been struggling to get everything done since being back from holiday and overtired from the flight etc, Effie’s sleep was very unsettled last night too, aparently she’s in the 4 month regression phase!

POA is to train tomorrow but I do have a busy day with posing clients, so I will see how my night is with Effie!

Busy day back to reality and catching up on life, yesterday was tough after no sleep as we didn’t get home until 5:30am, but hopefully a few good nights sleep this week can feel better 🙂

My appetite has been a little better today! I trained upper, which was great to get my body moving. I should have hams & glutes tomorrow but will see how Effie is as she has her jabs bless her 🩷

I hope everyone has had a great day! Today we headed by the pool this morning but there was a weather warning so we kept Effie in the room / indoors at peak time. We even took her in the hotel gym and she watched us train, she was soooo good!

Felt so much better for training as that was my first session in the gym since arriving! Hopefully I can get tomorrow to train lower before the wedding 😁

Hey nick, it’s great to hear the surgery went well and thankyou for updating us all. Sometimes it can be more daunting of the ‘what ifs’ post surgery, but we can only control what we can control. That means ensuring correct fuel and recovery is in place.

Hey guys,

Today it was the girls hen do day before the wedding, but I’ve been getting nausea recently and feeling slightly travel sick, turns out it is part of PP, I just thought I was having a phase. So I didn’t go on the yacht and joined at the beach club for a few hours. Before meeting Nathan and Effie and going out for dinner.

This trip has been very different with Effie, but it’s so nice having beautiful views and scenery.
