    Hey guys!

    Hope everyone has had a great Monday! I was supposed to be training today, but Mondays may be a little too busy to try and train on moving forward as it’s my busiest client check in day. And atm it’s quite hard with Effie still being on a feeding plan, and then her cluster feeding more so later on. But we will work it out, it’s still early days. 15 days old bless her, I keep forgetting I’m only 15 days post partum! Which is crazy!

    There is nothing wrong with pulling it and assessing the response, then it will for you data for peak week and ensuring you hit the cap.

    Many athletes can keep GH in as it does help with fullness, whereas other hold a lot of fluid so will need to pull out in peak week.

    Hope everyone has had a great weekend!

    Today we went for a little dog walk, but it’s quite frustrating for Nathan so don’t think we will go with the dogs again until he’s ready!

    Then we had some friends come over to see Effie!

    I’ve been quite tired today, I think it’s catching up with me, but can’t be helped! Need to try and nap because I haven’t been napping and been running on a few hours sleep 🙈

    Ready to be back in the gym again tomorrow!

    Hope everything is having a great weekend!

    Today I went in my first walk with the dogs on my own post partum, I feel fine but can tell I am still healing, so nice and steady! usual client work, housework, sorting Effie etc. then me Effie and nath went to do a bit of shopping, get out the house, got Effie some new outfits and some food shopping from m&s.

    I think back end of next week I will out some lower body back in, I’ll be 3 weeks post giving birth next weekend so think I’ll be fine as long as I am not doing anything that requires too hard bracing.

    Everyone is different m, and depending on whether it is an isolation exercise or compound exercise. Generally I like working 8-10 or 12-15 for glutes. Sometimes 15-20 for certain exercises.

    I think set intensifiers have a place too, deeming on where you’re at, for example if you are in your off season and recovery is good.

    Rest day today due to having things on, client woke first thing, posing client, midwife appointment, along with lots of feeding and pumping 😅

    Effie still hasn’t been discharged from the midwife yet due to her not being back at her birth weight yet, but hopefully next week she gets discharged then it will be a little more relaxed with the feeding plan 😄

    It sounds like you have your timeline mapped out very well.

    Well done on your transformation so far!

    Personally I agree with the others in bringing your baseline diet up to maintenance, allowing performance to improve before moving into your fat loss phase again.

    Rest day for me today!

    Usual client work, I’ve also had one to one posing client. I will be opening limited availability in may on wards for a couple of months. Luckily we are using bottle for feeds aswell as breast, so that makes it easier for me to crack on and do things too.

    Hey guys

    First day back in the gym today! Just consisted of pelvic floor work, core work and some upper.

    I will put lower in towards the back end of the week and then a full body sessions

    So starting with x3 sessions this week and next week.

    Then I will move to upper lower split, but still I’ll take it day by day and just go with the flow of how my body feels and what my recovery is like.

    But you are in a difficult position. If everything has been going good up until now I would have an open conversation with him and voice your concerns or potential methods and see what he comes back with.

    If it’s his way or no way then maybe it’s time to research a different coach. There are numerous ways to skin a cat, so we can’t say he won’t get you to where you need to be successfully.

    Usual client work this morning then it was another day of visits. We’ve also had some work men here finishing the garden lighting.

    Health visitor came out today and she sempt really happy with everything.

    Tomorrow I am going to head back into the gym which I can’t wait for 😄

    Another rest day for me today but a very busy one with client check ins and then midwife appointment, friends & family coming over to see Effie. I feel like the biding is never ending lol 😅 and they forget we are still working 😅

    I’m going to head back to training on Wednesday as I’ll be at day 10 and I’m more than ready to get training again. Obviously rehab / light resistance to start 😄

    There is a time and a place to fill out off plan meals, especially if in a competition prep. I would keep in your weekly of plan meals so you can enjoy spending social occasions with your friends.

    Monitor your progress and you can reduce your calories throughout the week if progress stalls.
