A nice drop in scale weight this morning, sitting in a really good place. The look is still good too, and Iโm still in a place where I can continue to push ๐
Rest day for me today! Client work boxed off early, some in person posing clients then a nice catch up walk and coffee with my mum and niece. Nothing better, family time and steps in one go ๐

Hey guys! Happy Wednesday! ๐
Last night my glutes was so sore, but nothing a morning hot bath doesnโt sort ๐
Todays glutes session was still a really good session, Iโm happy with the fullness in my glutes still! Just a little more body fat to come off the rear of the legs then Iโll be happy ๐
Iโve also had a lovely afternoon with Alix, we treated ourselves to a Thai massage and it was so good! I kept dozing in and out of sleep too, which isnโt like me! ๐
Another hot bath is on the cards tonight too!

I fully agree with Clare here.
A good sports therapist or chiropractor may be more beneficial in your scenario rather than a standard physio. I would look to go private to someone that specialises in sports rather than an NHS physio.
Dry needling/ acupuncture gets much deeper and relives tension that deep tissue massage cannot. After the first session you may feel like you have been beaten up, but stay consistent with it as it does ease and get better over time.
I also advice to keep your head and spine neutral rather than chin tucked when performing your exercises (unless exercise specific needs the chin tucked).

Sometimes we have to take a step back of thinking more is more, pull back, drop some fatigue and then we should see the body responding again.
It is very hard to do this mentally, but once you do and see the physical changes, you soon see a shift in your own mindset and know that resting/pulling back is just as important as pushing.

Hey guys!
Rest day for me today! Work boxed off early this morning before some posing clients.
Then I met a friend for a quick coffee before I treated myself to a pedicure and a fresh nails set. It was a different salon I went to and the Chinese guy commented how strong my nails were, I laughed and said, itโs a high protein diet for you! ๐
My friend also called round this evening, which was nice, but I am fried today so hopefully will get a nice sleep tonight ๐

Slightly fluctuation in scale weight this morning even after rest day, I have had a few things on my mind so could be a combination of increase cortisol and higher expenditure yesterday! Felt much better after a strong session today!

I fully agree, you could even look around onto places that do second hand ones. There are a few sites on Instagram that stock plenty of second hard refurbished ones

Rest day for me today! Iโve had some clients round for in person check in and posing today. Then Iโve had a lovely social afternoon with my friends celebrating a baby shower.
It was so great to see them all! Then I went to visit my sister and took her my afternoon tea from the baby shower ๐

I fully agree with Claire here.
I would advice having a higher carb meal prep bed. Then upon wake hydrate well.
I would also try having whey isolate shake and then on your way to the gym you could drink tbjp sustain for preworkout carbs and then include tbjp sustain in your intra. You may find that having the carbs drink 15mins pre training digests quite quickly.

Rest day for me today! Work boxed off early doors so then I could go for a nice dog walk this afternoon, steps all boxed off so I can chill this evening!
Tomorrow is another rest day but I have a jam packed filled day. Which is good because it keep my hungry mind occupied ๐

Hey kristof,
I also prefer a linear load, whether you are natural or assisted.
This gives the body time to drop off any inflammation and then maintain a look that you like for show day throughout the back end of the week.
If your midsection is an issue then the linear load would be perfect as it gives you time to pull back a touch a day or two before stage time. This will keep the midsection nice and tight.

I agree will all the above here. I like to place squat movements before moving onto leg press, this way you know you arenโt going to be too fatigued for your squats.

Felt so much better this morning after a good sleep, didnโt wake up once!
Client work boxed off early before a good glutes session followed by an afternoon of one to one posing clients!
I love seeing clients put as much work into their posing as they do their nutrition and their training!
Tomorrow & Sunday and both rest days so I know I will be very hungry! Looking forward to catching up with my fiends and family this weekend too ๐
