Hey Andreea, sorry to hear this and hope you are on the mend soon!
with training, I think it would depend on your pain scale, doing movements that don’t aggravate combined with lower body focussed sessions

managed to get my second vax yesterday which means I can finally plan my travels back to the USA within the next 2 weeks. Arm a little sore as per usual but nothing like the pain as the first one and feeling okay in myself just a bit tired.
today I trained pull, everything felt good, implemented the feedback on my session prior in to this session so things felt much better. felt happy to try 200kg again on my RDL got 5 this time, also increased weight on my DB s/a row and seated upper back row as well

rest day today! today I will also start the quest of trying to get my second Jab!! and then I can start to actually have a timeline of when I can get back to the USA! hopefully they allow me to get it done today!
No clients booked in today, so I can get myself set up and ready for the week before everything resumes tomorrow 🙂

Hey Nick, this could be something to do with how well you are actually recovering, your CNS may be fried after your back session hence why you feel it more post that session. a few questions, How many rest days are you getting? what is your split like at the moment? what do your sessions look like? when was your last deload??

Hi, I would definitely go to see a sport therapist/physio to really have a look further into the issue so that you can get a proper diagnosis and then a plan to help you with pain and getting it better

busy day today with posing clients, I will also be trying to get my second vax as we are now approaching the 8 week mark next Thursday so will see if I can get it done a bit earlier! and then I can begin my travels back to America.
in terms of offseason so far, I honestly couldn’t be happier with how things are going. training is getting better each week with strength and execution which was a huge focus when starting back up post Olympia x

Definitely agree with the above here, try to have a high quality protein, stay hydrated and when you can try to use some steps as output x

no problems with a warm up pre session, if its simply a walk to warm upthen I would say count it as steps over direct cardio, I would also maybe taper down the time slightly and if you were looking to do cardio then try to put it as far away from training as possible and if you can’t then save it pwo

Hey Luke, Agree with the above here, if you are still getting pain I would try to get in to see someone about it. Also if you film your sets you can break down your form as it might be something that could be tweaked slightly to remove that element of pain

rest day today and really excited to spend the day in town with @MegSylvester as she is coming to London today
I had a really good pull session yesterday, really happy with how things are going. Strength is coming back after we stripped my training back after the Olympia and worked from the ground up again

Thank you and I do apologise for the stupid question. It is a bad habit I have and I really appreicate everyone input
It’s not a stupid question at all!! Things happen!!! But its about learning from it and trying to learn new habits to help combat the issue! Echoing again what has been nailed above! try not to feel guilty and jump back into your plan 🙂
