    For me it’s got to be organic ground coffee, through an espresso machine or plunger machine. Grumpy mule varieties and machu pichu are my favourite. As they are organic they are less acidic and less likely to impact digestion.

    Okay so huge line up at the AO, over 500 athletes which made it the biggest show in Europe, with large numbers comes less time. 19 in my class, you have a few poses to make an impression and i mean a few literally. Got into 1st callout, then moved to the middle, 3 poses them moved over and ended up 4th. I’m extremely honest and if i see a classic physique i shake their hand. And although there where some great physiques in the class none of them in my opinion where classic. This is a large part of the new class though, almost all will do bodybuilding and classic crossover in an attempt for the pro card. All i ever want to do is present my version of classic which to be fair is probably outdated and the judges never really know what to do with me. So after a show i break down my own physique, no one else’s. I look at how i can improve my physique whilst keeping the look i want and avoiding turning it into a modern bodybuilding look. Little clean out this week, more food but good food and still low carb. I will see how my body responds and take it from there. You can have all the will in the world but 1st you listen to your body and health before your head.

    all checked in, weight bang on limit as always. had a good few carb meals, super full but watery obviously, half a diazide to go in at 10 and 3am ish. then wake up bone dry and full hopefully, condition much improved so I’m happy, rest is down to judges.

    another depletion session down. Id love to say I’m hitting good weights but i would be lying lol. I’m struggling just to stand at the minute. very faint and nauseous, however, this.is the best I’ve looked and for me i had to take my body to dark places to get rid of the last bits of fat. i have attached a picture to show the importance of deep tissue therapy. Particularly as you near a show. I have been struggling to pull my left lat out properly and you can see the difference after a session with Harry, my back also looks more detailed.

    I always think it’s mad when people are trying to push decent weight at this point.

    Agree with Clare your in good shape and of you really want to start packing on some muscle you will have to push into a surplus. Whats your goal physique wise? mens physique, classic or open.

    Exactly as above, progressing weights will be vital on the compound movements, RDLs, deads, squats etc.. focus on beating the 2 working sets. The muscle rounds or drop sets are for flushing the muscles with blood so often you won’t see huge progress with wieght.

    rest day today. 9 litres of water going in so I’m going to be mainly pissing. Shave tonight, pack bags and head off early in the morning for check in. Holding off in carbs until tomorrow as my body fills out quick. expect a 4 to 5kg increase from carbs tomorrow then by the morning all the water would have dropped out and il prob be 106 107kg again

    Little pump session today, posing, beard trim, veet armpits, exfoliate, pack bags etc
    All the stuff you don’t want to be doing but need to do. Just started getting cold shivers, 4 layers on, hopefully that doesn’t equate to anything. Had a little hypo when getting my beard trimmed today. Body is in shut down mode but looking the best by a long way. 1.5 days and we put some carbs in and water manipulation, should be even more fun this time as I’m a leaner.

    As Kuba suggests. slin pins are great and pain free. I only jab legs and glutes but use blues for my glutes.

    I only get blues as I get the nhs steroid pack from a needle exchange, will try a glute Monday. Think it’s just trial and error lucky only doing .5ml a shot so not much oil anyways [/quote]

    @ryanpetford really? I’ve never heard anyone do a short mini cut like that. From what I’ve seen it’s a sharp drop in calories and increase in cardio for the short period before jumping back up

    depends, you don’t really want to drop too much too soon. You want to maintain muscle and come down slowly.
