Hi Ryan,

On the back of that – do you think that foods that digest better would keep the waist in general smaller then? If you dont digest oats amazingly well, but still plenty of time to eat again at your next meal – what are the real negatives to eating them except feeling a little crappy?

definitely m8, i only eat foods that digest well, since switching to predominantly fish my midsection has improved dramatically even as I’ve grown.

Exactly as Hilly said, slow the carbs a little with fat and you don’t need carbs with every meal.

Not the best m8, mix your whey or isolate with a little water to create a moose. You can add nut butter or coconut oil from there depending on cal intake. Stick in freezer and you have a great pudding. I assume you have a dairy intolerance so don’t have dairy.

Just move your pre and post meals buddy. breakfast wise you will get used to it, we are one of the few nations that have sweet breakfasts. I eat fish, sounds gross but love it. Food is fuel, you can’t always love every meal.

your dose is fine buddy, yes generally test levels lower than tren depending on size, years on anabolics etc

Ryan, how would you say the ratios should be when running test and NPP (also a 19 nor, just as tren)? First time running NPP atm, first week: 300mg NPP and 450mg test e. Not sure if this is ok? 3rd cycle btw. thanks!
That’s ideal m8, won’t need more test than that and 400 to 500mg of npp is good. 19 nor?

Absolutely fantastic progress for a year matey. Not just the physical development, but the mental aspect as well. If I spoke to the Ryan of a few years back about what he’s doing now, he’d just laugh- ‘I don’t do deadlifts ‘ yeah, we can tell ???? haha

So, food is low and output is high but you got to do what you got to do. That’s always intrigued me how a large guy such as yourself has such a low calorie intake, both offseason and during comp prep. Do you think this hinders you? For example, during the start of a diet phase the higher your calories, the more you have to play with and fuel your sessions?

Obviously you’re fully aware of what works, but just wondered? Is it due to a fear of bloating the midsection, low appetite, a combination of the two or perhaps acknowledging that you don’t need to gorge to gain and that when necessary, you have an extra tool in reserve in the form of upping intake?

    Hey m8,
It’s a catch 22, keeping food low allowed me to improve my midsection even though ive added more tissue. However, i think i can and definitely will push more calories in the next offseason, i would like 4000 to 5000 but if i choose wisely, i.e predominantly fat and foods that digest perfectly then i should still be able to keep midsection tight.

    Hey Ryan,

I’ve just read through your whole log and it’s amazing how much insight you provide there into what you do and why.

Do you know what show you’re going to compete at? Are you tempted by Amateur Olympia on 6th Oct? Also, what’s your current training split?

    Cheers

    George

appreciate that m8, yes it looks like a good option, AOs sound alot better than they are, lots of pro cards but always too many competitors so sometimes you can see great physiques missed because the judges have to.rush and often only compare 2 or 3 poses initially. Still it’s in London so close by.

remove all eggs and replace with another protein source, It’s a common food allergy. If it’s not that do the same with the chicken. Stop cider vinegar because that can cause issues. Replace peanut butter for almond. If i had the above diet.my stomach would be a mess, now i  eat only fish with occasional beef meals. Find the foods that work for you. good luck

Currently 72kg, the goal for now is try and push towards the 80kg.

BF at a guess is now around 8-9, I recently had it around 6 – 7, body weight then was 62.4kg was the lowest.

    Non Assisted

Currently following the Macro split from here with total calories at 3555cals.
Okay buddy, so bfat still in a pretty good place, why not add some more cals from predominantly fat, that way you get the cals in bit don’t negatively hit blood glucose or insulin response. maybe push another 250kcals initially. What’s your carb intake currently? and in particular your pre and post meal.

150mg a week generally has people at about 30 to 35mmol whichis trt dose. However everyone is different. I would guess over
    or close to 100mmol.

Is there an optimal range when blasting? Thanks for the reply
I think test at 2-3mg/kg suits most people quite nicely. Then you add in your anabolics.
Ideally (in my opinion), the dose of test you choose will require the least amount of ancillaries to control estrogen and blood pressure.
100mg puts me at roughly 33mmol ~4 days post shot.
So, in my case, only 210-315g test e ew ? Im 105kg. Is it me or does that seem a little low?
start low m8, 300mg and add in something with it like NPP or mast E 40pmg per week ans they will get you results. How many courses have you done?

All to many… im 37 now, and started when i was about 20 years old… on and off.. after seeing your replies im thinking about doing a cruise 125mg test e ew for some time… and then doing 300mg test e ew with the addition on either deca or eq.. eq does rise my bloodpressure though…
yer TRT is good to do to restore blood work then in your pushing phases 300 to 400mg test and say 400mg npp would definitely be enough for results whilst still not battering health.
