wowweeee a busy day was had today!! trained legs this morning which was an okayyyyyy session, my foot has seemed to flare up and was pretty sore again today but we managed to push through and actually get a PB on the squat press which I was super happy with! Then the rest of the dat was spent in the warehouse and working on clients ! Tomorrow is a rest day and usual shifts at work! Nothing too crazy!

I haven’t hinged in years because of a previous injury. Not doing hinges doesn’t mean you can progress your posterior chain. Utilising hyperextensions and variations of curls will still generate growth, if something hurts then I would advise against doing it.

Learning how to brace and breathe correctly in a set is very important. The bracing aspect keeps us stable, safe and protects the spine. The breathing aspect, well , we kinda need to breathe! So yes both can affect your performance if not done correctly .

Rest day today! Spent the day at a client show today which was ace! First one of the season and I couldn’t be more proud of her, she didn’t place it that package we brought was her best yet! So I’m honestly so happy ! I’ve got an early legs session in the morning which I’m looking forward to the a couple of new starters to get on board! Into another week we go!

I would sit here for a little while , assess as you go 🙂 don’t want to just throw calories up all of a sudden!

You’ve mentioned already as to why this session might not have been the best – you didn’t eat as much food – there’s your answer. We all have sessions that might not be as good as other ones, but that doesn’t mean we’ve lost all our muscle. It’s one session, we move on and go into the next.

so! busy last couple days here ! Posterior went very well yesterday ! about now I’ve been able to load my foot fully – so loaded up the pendulum (had to swap this with my squat press as the squat press was being used – so will do this on legs) and managed to hit the same weight pre injury and holiday and hit it for 3 more reps the before so was super happy with this! Today I have upper, so will be hoping for some more big numbers. Trained very late last night , so didn’t want to go straight into another session this early morning , so training a little later today then an evening chilling with my partner. I have a client competing tomorrow so will be travelling for that early does, but she’s looking ace and I’m VERY excited to see her on stage! Should be good!!

Today was a veryyyy good day! Push this morning was flying – headphones on and in the zone – very happy with how this session went , so hoping we continue on this trajectory now I’m down to just Femtest (this is at 4.5mg per week) tomorrow morning I’m in for posterior , my foot was agony today so might have to do some more BFR work tomorrow on lower compounds but we shall see!! Then off to see a client who’s 2 weeks out! Which is very exciting! Xxx

I personally like to have a litre of water prior to having a coffee but if you don’t it’s not the end of the world!

Hey!!! Another Tuesday done! pull session was a little flat this morning but that was purely down to my alarm not going off – so was very much rushed session ! It happens!! However movements all still hit well , couldn’t do the chest supported row just purely because of my toe (still not 100%) it’s feeling better this evening so hope that better very soon! But otherwise a solid session! Tomorrow is a rest day , and then we check in with cal tomorrow! Xx
