Evening squad!! First day back in the gym and it was interesting to say the least! Chest still let me know that I’m not 100% so this session was very much about getting some blood moving , still pretty happy with how things went, but need to not be a dick and push myself into a hole. Pretty sure I’m running a temperature as-well due to how much I’m sweating just sitting down/how warm I’m feeling , so if this continues I’ll be heading to the doc (but hoping it doesn’t!) I do have a rest day tomorrow anyway, so this will work well giving my body another little additional rest , so will assess and go from there!

First thing I would address here is your water intake – are you going into your sessions dehydrated? as this can have a huge impact on your pumps etc – also are you using a hydration product? TBJP hydration has an amazing panel on it , providing you with all the appropriate electrolytes needed to avoid cramping etc. This is normally the first thing I would address/have address if I’ve ever felt this way before.

Another day of rest completed , felt like absolutely ass today (even more so since being back from NYC) however I am feeling better this evening so will be back easing myself into training tomorrow morning. Just looking forward to getting back to training and some normality !

When I’ve had clients with potential issues with certain foods, I’ve done exactly what Clare has mentioned and run an elimination diet – a really effective way of finding out what’s causing an issue – so if you feel there’s an issue somewhere within you diet , remove and add in one at a time – youll find out an issue relatively quickly

Finally home on UK soil!! Todays flight felt like it lasted forever! But home now which is good! I am , however, full of flu now so feel pretty grim! I have check in with cal tomorrow so will update him on everything and will take an additional rest day tomorrow, as I do feel like death warmed up! NYC was amazing but I’m most certainly glad to be back in my own home and getting back to normality !

If it’s fine on digestion then I don’t see why not! As many other athletes have said, I would personally opt for sourdough if you can , but if not usual bread is fine. Just make sure that you have a variety of carbohydrate sources in your diet 🙂

I remove a couple meals from the day and replace with my off plan 🙂 then just back to usual diet the next day – much like Chloe said – no compensation or anything , just back to it the next day 🙂

I think the first thing to address here is why your wrists are hurting in the first place . Wrist wraps / straps etc are an accessory to a lift and shouldn’t be used to just cover up an injury – so I would get booked in with a physio or sports therapist to assess why your wrists are hurting before anything else.

Mad day in NY city today doing all the standard tourist things ! A really good walk over to Brooklyn to see the bridge, racked up over 30k steps today which was expected tbh! we’re off to go and watch Gotham city vs Santiago wave in the NWSL tomorrow which has been on my partners bucket list since she was young so wanted to ensure we ticked that off for her! Hope everyone has had a good day today!

Much like Louis said – there are a couple of things you can do to challenge yourself/make the set harder when maxing out machines becomes a problem – Dennis James used to do these brutal sets called MTUT sets which was 3 partial reps followed by 1 full rep, if this is done currently I can guarantee you won’t be moving the load /maxing out machines

Good afternoon team! writing this from the airport awaiting to fly to NY! Checked in with cal this morning and just awaiting a response but I can imagine it’ll be , have a good time, eat your meals and chill out. As mentioned in the previous post, I will deload from now until next Tuesday and into the next phase of offseason. We’re moving to HRT now and then plan to get bloods done in the next few weeks to see where we are at. It’s been beyond successful this previous phase and I couldn’t be happier. Very excited to see whats in store for me and cal as a team.

I believe a lot of bigger individuals use CPAPs to help with sleep and snoring issues (especially if the snoring is related to something like obstructive sleep apnea) I personally snore when I know I’m a little too heavy or when I post show and weight comes back up. I just change a few daily habits – move a little more etc , and it typically sorts itself out. I know you can get nasal strips to help open nasal passages during sleep or during the day – so this could also be something you can look into if needs be.
