Pull today! Which went well! I had a play around on the Gymleco t bar which felt awesome so I’ll most likely keep this in for now and replace the prime mid back row!
Big legs session in the morning and then I’m off to London for a night due to family things! Have a great Friday everyone! X

Rest day today as we picked up the keys to our new home today! Super exciting but also super crazy that its happening! Entering the next stage of adulthood! Posterior in the morning and a massage after should see me into a good Tuesday of client check ins! Another day done!

Following on from Peter here – Try not to overcomplicate things, find that split that works for you, find basic movements that work for you and get good at them. You won’t be able to see any progress if you’re chopping and changing splits all the time, because as Peter mentioned , which I fully agree with, a split should be run for 16-20 weeks to really reap the benefits.

Good evening team!
I hope you’ve all had an awesome day! Busy but good one for me! Me and my partner are just getting ready to pick up the keys on a house we’ve just brought (which is crazy seeing as I never thought I would ever be a fully fledged adult but here we are! aha! ). We are picking the keys up tomorrow, so moved my push day to today and will have my rest day tomorrow so we can both focus on everything needing to be done on the house.
I general today was a good session, however I’ve been having issues with pressure headaches recently so need to have a look into this. Blood pressure checks will be a little more often to see if thats got anything to do with it, have a real lockdown on hydration aswell as I think that might be having something to do with it aswell. Other than that it was a good solid session! So cannot complain!

I would do as instructed by Jay tbh, add in a couple of sets here and there across the week . But equally piggy backing off of what Oscar was saying, ensure your approach to these sets is bang on and you’re getting the most out of everything you’re doing when bringing up a lagging body part.

Upper done and dusted today! Very solid session with some good numbers going up! Check in with the boss man in the morning to see whats going on and whether we need to make any amendments! But as usual most likely just another week of doing the do!

Rest day today! So not much to report! Did a few hours in the TBJP warehouse today which is always a good laugh! Then came home, jumped on a podcast, ate some food and did some steps, the exciting life of a bodybuilder!
Got upper tomorrow after work then a nice chilled evening! Happy days!

Stress is going to play a huge roll here as other athletes have mentioned, so definitely take that into account and aim to reduce ! But as also mentioned by athletes, I would definitely try to measure a little more often and throughout day if possible!

Busy day for clients as per usual (Mondays and Tuesdays are typically rammed full of clients which I LOVE) all wanting to start their days right which is awesome!
Rest day tomorrow then back in for upper Thursday! Things we love to do! 💪

Couldn’t agree with what other people have said here – This is your goal! Keep smashing it and ignore the comments from other people, you’re achieving something they could only dream of doing, so use it as fuel and show em!

Crazy weekend done and dusted!! Client had his show up in hull this weekend and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with how he looked! Unfortunately he didn’t place but compared to other competitors he just needs more size, so into the offseason we go! Final show of the season next weekend then holiday for me and the partner – and when I say holiday i mean go to Scotland and move house aha , which to me is perfect – i’m a home gal at heart!
Today push was on the cards, a very steady session, little stiff from travel but nothing that won’t subside after today! Massage in the morning with some posterior work aswell! So should be good!

As Jordan said , it can be a little detrimental for some , personally I don’t really find any issue with it. But if its effecting you and the numbers you’re able to put down in your push session then I would either move things around or look at variables that might not be at 100% , for example is your rest between those days at 100% , are you sleeping well? what’s stress like? Have you been bang on with your hydration, nutrition? When one of these variables is a little skewed then it can have a big impact on your ability to apply yourself in those sessions! So maybe have a look at these first , then if the push session is still a little on the poor side , move split around.

If you feel you could do more I would revisit your intensity, keep what you have now and really work on applying yourself in those sets. If someone says they feel they can do more in their training, it makes me think that intensity isn’t where it should be. Repeat repeat repeat, keep it simple and get good at it 🙂
