    Rest day done and dusted!!

A day focused around recovery, resting and eating ! Nothing more than that was done today!

I do find mentally I struggle with rest days, but as I’ve grown into this sport and appreciate the reason and importance of rest days , I approach them like I would approach a training day (just minus the dnfm! )

Upper on the cards for me tomorrow which I’m very excited about! Onwards we go!

Agreed with a lot of the comments already made on here – this is a pretty ridiculous cycle – stupid tbh. Massive no no from me . Would like to have a stern word with the coach that thought this was a good idea :L

Another day ! Another step closer to the O!

Another very good day in the books! Posterior was on the menu today! The session went a little like this!

Lying hip flexion – 2 sets

Single leg curl – 2 sets

Abduction SS Smith hip thrust (1/4 rep into full rep) – 2 sets

    Hyperextension – 2 sets

    Cable pullover – 3 sets

    Atlantis t bar row – 2 sets

    Prime pulldown – 2 sets

Finishing with some standing calves – 3 sets

If it wasn’t up in weight it went up in reps – very very chuffed!

Tomorrow is a rest day, so it will be spent doing client work, stretching and chilling! Something I have really been focusing on this offseason is recovery and rest, so when a rest day does come around I ensure I’m truly taking it as a rest day!

    Onwards to tomorrow!!

    Good evening Team!

I hope everyone has had an amazing day today!

Another steady day of client check ins and an amazing push session completed at the shed.

Push session went like this today!

Lying cuffed lateral raise – 3 sets total

Atlantis incline press – 2 sets total

Nautilus flat press – 2 sets total

Prime pec dec – 3 sets

Prime lateral raise – 3 sets

Long rope triceps extension – 3 sets

Finishing off with some machine crunches and leg raises + 20 mins of cardio

Numbers are absolutely flying with all sessions at the moment , and i’m within touching distance of 4 plates on the Atlantis press and this is one massive goal I want to smash in the next couple weeks (which I believe I can!)

Most recent check in with Tom saw both food and drug escalation. I have been on cycle for 4 weeks now , and primo has been increased from 150mg to 200mg weekly, Femtest around 4mg weekly and anavar at 10mg daily. This is a cycle we’ve done before (just at lower dosages) and its always been a go to for me, as some compounds, specifically NPP, send me a little crazy, so we avoid that like the plague!

Food is currently creeping up, macros are currently looking like this – TD = 220/375/45 and NTD 220/325/50, with expenditure being 8k steps daily and 2 x 20 mins weekly. I move around ALOT so the 8k is simply a minimum for me, I typically do around 12-14k (because like I said, i can’t seem to sit still! )

I check in with Tom and Calum (Calum raistrick oversees my training! ) every Friday so you’ll all be kept in the loop! Tomorrow I have my posterior session, so will update you all on how that goes!

    Have an awesome evening everyone!
