Busy busy day but awesome day indeed!!

Upper completed – still a few little niggles in my shoulders currently but that’s purely just from being bigger and moving more weight then ever before in these offseason phases – so following on from what I’ve said about the importance of weekly treatment and mobility – i couldn’t say this enough! Mobility mobility mobility!

Other than that very happy with how things are currently moving ! Good day indeed!

In all honesty if weight is moving up in an appropriate manner (which I assume is the goal) then why is there a need to change it? – goes back to the lovely saying – If it isn’t broke don’t fix it!

Like Jordan has mentioned , we all do this approach. Some people have more of a calorie difference then others , myself, I have a 105 calorie difference from my TD to my NTD , the emphasis is just placed on fats on my NTD and carbs on my TD.

But some people may have a much higher difference in calorie amounts – its just down to the individual 🙂 but i wouldn’t worry about losing any muscle tbh!

    Rest today for me!

So steady day of client work and general life admin. Looking to start incorporating some time in a sauna soon for recovery purposes but i want to buy my own and pop it in the new house (when that all goes through, which as we all know can take forever aha) as I really want to focus on having that time to myself instead of sitting in one with a load of other people :L

so thats something I hope to do very soon!

Other then that a pretty chill day!

I’ve started popping my phone on DND mode and its made a massive difference to focus – I’ve also started cutting down time between warm up sets, do the necessary before really diving hard into working sets – too many people faff around in the gym! Go in with purpose , know what you need to do , how much you need to warm up then get straight into it.

Just by knowing what the session entails , what numbers you need to hit etc – it stops the faff that may happen if you don’t know what you need to warm up with, or what you need to get weights wise. So always ensure you’ve got a game plan set pre session and that you’re all ready to go!

Agree with the above stated – its very individual dependant tbh. Some preps I’ve used cardio, some I haven’t . I didn’t need to use cardio when I worked in warehouses because my steps were so high, where as when I wasn’t in warehousing I did.

Just by increasing your day to day movement (steps etc) it can help massively when it comes to fat loss (or at least starting the process), you don’t necessarily need to start throwing cardio in the mix straight away.

But as the other athletes have said, it’s hugely individual dependent.

    Another day done and dusted!!

Massage this morning , followed by a coffee with a client then posterior at the shed! Very happy with how todays session went, everything moved well and connection was solid ! Hip is better too, as previously mentioned I had a little niggle from a movement the other day but seeing as legs went well the other day and posterior also went well, I should think its very much on the mend!

Nothing really too crazy to report! Another day ticked, another day closer to prep!

Honestly, couldnt agree with whats been said above. Sleep really is EVERYTHING. Its one of the most underrated (and poorly tracked) variables IMO, so I would make sure that you’re trying your best to reduce those stressors and focus on sleep routine and getting better sleep quality , which will allow you to go into these sessions slightly fresher.

    Goood evening team!!

Another Monday done and dusted! Been a busy one but a decent one! Push session complete with all movements progressing which feels amazing! Shoulders felt much better today after treatment with Jen the other day, i’m normally very good with my mobility but as i’ve gotten bigger i’m needing to stay on top of it more then ever – so i typically get treatment 1-2 times a week, i’ve got some booked in for the morning aswell . Some people may see this as overkill but my body is my work, I need to keep it in tip top condition.

After treatment tomorrow, I’m catching up with a client and then heading to train posterior which i’m exciting for as per usual! Have an awesome Tuesday people!

I shadow Kuba here as that’s exactly why I do with my EAAS and performance fuel.

Performance fuel is bang on for digestion – I used to use maltodextrin back in the day and it would fuck my guys up for days!

No difference really with what creatine you use! I use 5g daily – but I am quite abit smaller then Jordan!

Couldn’t agree more with what’s been said above – I use dream sleep 30 mins prior to bed and recently I’ve also been using CBD to reduce anxiety/general day to day stress and get me into a better more relaxed state of mind for sleep.

As someone who’s struggled massively with their sleep CBD + Dream sleep has been a game changer .

I would always ensure that your sleep routine is bang on (what’s been mentioned above by other athlete) and that blue light exposure or anything overstimulating is reduced prior to bed

    Hope this helps!

Another SMASHING leg session in the bag today! I twinged my hip last week on the adductor, so was a little more cautious today, but despite that, once the session got rolling it was ON.

Checked in with Tom yesterday and its now the end of my cycle – we now move to 2mg of femtest weekly, GH 1iu EOD (the reason for EOD is because I get HORRENDOUS carpal tunnel with higher doses, which I confirmed even further this push aha! ) and that will be it till prep! I will get bloods done in 8 weeks to see where we are at , but for now – we enter natty jail.

This has hands down been the most successful push I’ve done in my bodybuilding career so far and I couldn’t be happier. Now to hold this, and it’s time to dance. I couldn’t be more excited for next years season, shows are yet to be confirmed but me and Tom have an idea on the one we want to do. As people know I am gunning for New York this year, so I’m planning on having that as my first show of the year, and I WANT TO WIN. So we’re going in all guns blazing.

Rest day tomorrow and then push on Monday! Another week to be better!

    Agreed with everything above!

I think it’s completely normal for an individual to have one side slightly stronger then one – I typically start with the weaker side first and match with right.

I used to have awful imbalances due to previous hip issues but since doing more unilateral work in previous training phases its made a massive difference – so continue to do the uni work but start with the weaker side first

    WHAT A DAY!

Upper today was simply sensational – as said in the previous log , headspace is well and truly on! All movements hit new numbers and I felt good doing it! So very happy!

Check in with the boss man tomorrow to see what the next moves are. I am coming to the end of my cycle now, in which I started tapering down this week. Then its time to get bloods done and the thats all cycles done until prep starts! Which is super exciting!

Tomorrow is pull and I’m excited for it! It’s normally legs but my training partner can’t make tomorrow so just switching around slightly – as I hate training legs on my own simply for a spotting purpose aha (I need to pay someone to be a full time spotter aha)

    Into another day team!
