Fabis condition gets better and better, but weight is still nailed at 110, but its fine right now.

Yesterdays check in with fabi was good condition whise. Condition gets excellent, face sinks in, but weight is increasing which sucks ???????? . Cause as you know we aim for classic. So another kcal drop was needed. Actually at 3600/3100. we also discussed a refeed, which isnimpossible if you give his body additional kcal he will grow cause i used to be bigger. Which is bad for know but if he is able to get the card nice to fill out to the pro limit

thanks for your answer, makes sense!
yep fabi really is gifted (and I assume also a workhorse), crazy transformation since he really started again last year. would be awesome to see him goin open as well (although I’m sure he will rock the classic division), it just seems he really could get to the next level quickly (considering how quickly he grew a few years back and went from first time competitor to NABBA mr. universe) if he’d decide to REALLY push it – but I guess he is too smart for that :D.

Yes i’m happy. I think classic is the best option for him. Also concerning the intensity necessarry to get really big.

Always remember, one reading means nothing. You should do a protocoll of 3 readings a day for a week. Also take sure that you rested 10min before otherwhise the systolic will be affected by moving

Like lara said, high blood pressure could cause that, so go and measure it. Make a protocol with 3 readings a day and just measure when you sat down for 10min

Good Morning! The development of fabi is just crazy. He is back up at 110kg after illness. Condition is starting to get crazy. But we need a drop. So sunday is judgmentday.
Also a lot of people are at home with flu. Never go training sick and keep at home until you are fully recovered

Hi Stefan,Just found your log today and have binge read it all already.Very informative! My first cycle was 250mg test and made some epic results.I’m now a couple weeks in to my second cycle of 300mg test.Am I upping the dosages to little? I know Jordan say’s you want to gain the most out of the least. Thankyou v much!

I see it exactly like that. If you have no more progression i always follow thst steps before upping the dose:
    1. is there room for more food
    2. would an additional recovery day benefitial for progression
    3. is growing phase too long and we net to step one step back to get forward

how do you assess that (benefits of additional recovery day)?
I’m always tending to train too much (I believe), it’s really hard for me to take more than 2 rest days a week. I’ve forced myself now to cut back to 4 training days and 3 restdays, but so far (4 weeks) I’m not making more progress in terms of strength (for hypertrophy its too early..). Science almost always says “the more volume, the better”, just a few days ago e.g. menno henselmanns shared a study comparing 16 vs 24 vs 36 sets/week – all to failure – and the participants doing the most work had the most gains by far.. and nope they were not beginners, all benching 100kg+ for reps at least was minimum requirements.
I love the JP training style (about 5-8 hard sets per muscle about 1.5 times a week, so roughly 10 sets per muscle per week) and follow it for 2 years now, but I’ve began to wonder if more volume wouldn’t be better after all..
also regarding lukas I think he was greatly overlooked last year, I think the condition he brought with you was much improved and he should have placed higher in almost all shows he did in my opinion, that’s one big mofo und his shape is also decent. can you elaborate on his problems? health (bloods from last prep still not ok?) or something personal (than of course no need to talk about any specifics – if its health related I’d be interested what it is and how you deal with it so we could learn from that maybe).[/quote]
Its try and error, but as always you have to use that extra rest day for more intensity. In 8 of 10 cases that works. Concerning volume i try to share my thoughts. I think if more volume is good or not is a question of a personality type. For me and a lot of my boys its impossible to do more volume. When i did and now again do a set for example of 10reps, usually after 2 reps i really have to fight keeping execution and form and do the work. (Its hard to explain for me in english) but i force myself to the absolute maximum. I also couldnt drop after cause i’m done i contracted everything to the max and got out all of that set. So after every workout i’m totaly smashed and need that recovery. If you are not that type of person you need a higher volume. I hope you know what i mean. I know also a few guys were i work more with a volume approach. But me personally i dont like volume and it never worked for me.
I also like studies but i like try and analize in any specific case more.

Yes i was very happy with lukas last year and he definitly got overlooked but thats bodybuilding. His health is fine he always took care about that and i did even more.
Its personal but i’m sure he will come back stronger!

try to improve your flexibility. Stretch your quads to remove pressure from the kneecap.
Most kneepain comes from shortened muscles which leads to a little dislocation of the kneecap (my case) and it will get worse, trust me.
Good supplements are Join-In from trainedbyjp nutrition, I use this on my own and it helps a lot to get my knees feel more comfortable.
    cheers mate
