    Hi Richard.
As carb source i would always go for cluster dextrin, best to digest and very nice concerning your insulin activity.
Best product on the market is definitly Sustain from Trained by Jp with other highly potent ingredients. For the lower budget there is Performance Maxx which will also suit your needs.
It depends on your weight but i would go for app. 50g carbs.

As protein amino source option A would be Mps max with hydrolized Protein, eaa,…..
    As second option eaa
15g – 20g should also do well no need to go higher except you are super heavy

soooooooo, season is over, if i look back it was a really really good year with the chance to work with brilliant people, like always there were also some disappointments, but still they absolutely were minor.

I had the chance to support 3 IFBB Pros at 8 Professional Competitions.
Klaus Drescher who got no Finals in San Marino, Padova and Romania but he got 3. at Niagara Falls and 4. in Frankfurt.
Lukas Wyler got 5. in Watford and 7. in Portugal and Kevin had his First Pro Contest in Portugal too.

IFBB Pro Lucas Fiuza had Offseason the whole year we gonna attack next year at the Arnolds Brazil. Prep starts soon.

I was able to help 2019 4 people to gain there IFBB Pro Card. Kevin in Pilsen, Lara at the Amateur Olympia, Julia Föry whole diet until the Olympia in Veags (we don`t work anymore) and last but never least, Eric who won the Overall at the Amateur Arnolds in Ohio which was very emotional.
Kevin already had his debut. Lara will have hers at the Show in March, Eric will have his debut at the Arnolds in Ohio

So actually im working with 6 IFBB Pros and Im sure 2020 will come more 🙂

    this years amateur placings were:
4 Overall Titels at an IFBB Pro Qualifier
5 Class wins at an IFBB Pro Qualifier
5 2nd Places at an IFBB Pro Qualifier
1 3rd Place at an IFBB Pro Qualifier
    3 other top 6 finishes

Overall win at the Raphael Brandao Classic
Overall win at the Bahia Overall Championship

1 Title again at the NABBA Universe
3 2nd Place finishes at the NABBA Universe
2 3rd Place finishes at the NABBA Universe
2 3rd Places at the NABBA Worlds

Overall win at the Top de Colmar

1 Title at the NABBA Europeans
1 3rd Place at the NABBA Europeans

6 Overall Titles at National Championships
    20 National Titles

World Champion in Powerlifting WUAP in Moskau
    2 Austrian Champions in Powerlifting

Congratulations this weekend @stefan athletes looked incredible! Thiago look so big and dense.
Would you be able to give us a little run down of how his prep went?

It was a short won he joined the team 3,5 weeks out with app. 116kg far away from a competitive shape. Usually i dont do such projects but i saw his potential and know brazilians work ethics is crazy so i said if you will follow i bring you to the shape of the live. I rescheduled everything except training, cause i think at that moment you should keep what you are doing.
Food did not went down that much but i rescheduled the timing like always carbs for breakfast (yes i’m a believer in that) and around training.
I reduced cardio from 2hours to one hour.
Concerning drugs i did the classic stefan set up.
The final week i think i already posted

    Hi!
I’m a friend of small increases, step after step. That should also work well with your way of thinking. I always increase carbs first.
Add 50-80g of carbs in first stage and see what happens. Evaluate after 1 week on scale and pictures and see if you need another increase.
From timing increase around or intra workout first. Thane spread it over the day

    Good morning!!
2019 season is over for me!
I’m happy with that last weekend.
Super happy for sure for Thiago. He just looked nuts. Peaking went brilliant. Also that he looked just perfect on both days which can be tricky but all worked out well!!

I’m also happy with Klaus. Condition was again very good. But as sometimes at pro shows everything seemed quite „we have no time“ . First call out was missed and than no chance to get a comparisons with the top guys. I think 4-5 would have been possible. So he got 7. as best if the 2nd call out

A long and very busy year now goes to the end. I will write a recap.

    Good morning!!
Thats a typical day in my coaching life with athletes all over the world. I was up until 4 o’clock to decide how thiago has to go because after his brilliant win yesterday he has the overall comparison today. Peaking just was perfect couldnt be happier.
And now, its 7 o’clock and i have to decide Klaus day for the san marino pro.
All is fine on that side too. He needs to loose a little more water. So 1/3 diazide is on the plan!!
    I’m tired ????????????????

Hi Stefan! When you decide an athlete needs to lose more water and introduced Dyazide
What do you do with water/sodium/ food at that point? Take the diuretic and restrict everything ? Or keep eating drinking as planned ? [/quote]
For me there are 2 magical moments its the evening before show about 7pm and show day after wake up when i have a look and decide.
Concerning fluid, sodium,…. it totally depends on the look

Like michael says thats a good advice. For sure its important when showtime is. Think about that digestion takes time. And you don’t want to be in stage with a full stomach

    Hello coach,
What do you think of Dorian Yates’ approach to training planning; 5 to 6 weeks very heavy training for failure followed by 2 weeks lighter without going to failure?

    _________________________________________

That might be a good solution for bodybuilders who always give 100% and dont have enough rest days. I really like a 2 day training and 1 day rest. Sometimes a rest day before and after legs in off season. That works quite well. Then every 2-3 months some days totally off training.

Good question, cause here in austria the health system pays for that and its really uncomplicated. Like always @lewis-performance Answer is on point.
    A question from mysef:
Were is the best place in britain to do that panels?
