    Good morning everybody!
Klaus travelled yesterday to Padua. Which was a quite long car trip. When he arrived i really liked condition, as you can see on the picture. Still a lot of fluid and the first carb up day. But i think cause of the long sitting in the car combined with the food. Circulation went down and he got stomach pain. Especially in classic were the midsection is important i decided to fast from 7pm to now. Still awaiting his feedback when he gets up if everything is all right again.

Can you please provide an example of how an athletes “High day/refeed/carb up” would look if they were aiming to hit 1000g carbs
Would be very interesting to see how a total like that is hit from clean foods
    Cheers Stefan

Quite the same as here on thiagos carb up day from yesterday. If its during a normal diet and not pre contest carb up ther would be no change in salt and water from normal schedule

Hi! concerning building new tissue there are different factors, forst there is the size of the muscle cells, second there are blood vessels, nerverves,… which also have to grow. and that effect last usually a little longer. old dense muscle is nearly not possible to kill. if its new tissue its often the case, that when you start prep and it gets tough its mostly the first tissue which is reducing it size cause the support with vessels and nerves isnt fine anyway!
another point is, pushing up weight most of the time is not a nice procedure, not for the mind and also sometimes not for the body, thats why i like it a little bit less stressfull before prep, cause its gonna be shure tough.
i hope i was able to share my thoughts that yo can understand what i mean.

Thanks Stefan that helps! How long do you typically like to stay at a certain Wright with clients before starting prep, assuming time is not an issue?[/quote]
It depends a little how exhausted the athlete is and how the time schedule is. If there was no well offseason plan sometimes you have to go from pushing directly into diet if everything is structured well i like a period of about 6 weeks. Like you see i’m a planning nerd and always want to control ????

Exactly as everyone says above. If you are sensitive you feel immediatly a difference when you take a gda like IN SURE after a heavy carb meal

    Hi Stefan,
I looking to use GH for the first time ever for my prep. Please could you advise on the best way to utilise this (dosages/timings ect)

Concerning hgh a diet is definitly the best time where the money is worth it. You will benefit from faster recovery and stay more healthy.
I’m a fan of taking it all the way every day so no 5/2 scheme.
I would always split up in 2 iu doses. So first should be empty stomach 20min pre meal (same as thyroids)
2nd dosage immediatly after training 5-10min pre post workout.

If you take more than 4 iu than take the other doses well spread over the day, so that it is quite equal spared

On rest days, just take a look also that is good spared over the day.
If you are older also night shots could be beneficial!

    Hiho thank you!
first, important is, how good do you look a week pre show. if thats spot on i dont like any drastic changes maybe just one carb up day with like i wrote before 4g salt in the cooking water, little to no diuretic (1/4-1/2 diazide). i also don`t let them deplete carbs before and fluid stays normal.

if there is too much water, i may go lower with carbs and let them drink about 8-9l until carb up is 1-3 days ( depends on muscle mass, metabolism) but still then i`m not a friend of heavy diuretics use cause it mostly fucks everything. the most harding effect still have carbs cause they pull the water into the muscle cell. with sodium i handle it as above

generally if athlete is to flat i tend to give them more water or sodium, if he is full as a house i reduce it a little.

i think thats a general advice i can give

You have to go and let check if your discogenic is damaged and pressing on the nerve. If not, therapy will defintily help, could be a wrong placed vertebra oder a shortend or hardened erector spinae.

Another brilliant project for next year is Lucas Fiuza Ede. He turned pro last year in Iceland. And Arnold Classic Brazil will be his first Open Pro Class Show!
Lucas turned Pro when he still was a Junior so he is 24 now and time is defintily on his side. He sits at 122kg at the moment. Yesterday he told me that he feels tired, exhausted so we decided to do a break of 4-5 days to recover and regain energy for the prep which is ahead!

I still like the 90-120min rule spread over the week as it suits your lifestyle
