Yes for sure. Progression is progression take it how and where you can

I like a controlled change of direction, thinking of it as one fluid movement instead of stopping and starting again. Even if I do a pause, I maintain the tension on the muscle

Let’s see starting and current photos.
Also helpful info would be how much cardio you’re currently doing, along with how have you approached the progression of the deficit in this time.. how many cal drops did you make/how long you’ve been on the current amount/did you have any refeeds etc.TBJP Nutrition: Michaela10

Know that everything has a purpose. Rest days serve a purpose, training days serve a purpose. Embrace both and know that one betters the other

I would approach it just as you would if you were going to do a prep, it would give you a good base of experience and feedback for next time!
For me I would keep training as is, drop current daily calories by ~500, maybe a bit of cardio if you aren’t doing any, and see what response that illicits and then from there you base the further needs of the deficit on the progress you are making, or any refeeds later on based on training performance

2/lb per week is a good pace

If you’re using the walking as a direct form of cardio, it would be the same ~130 range. If you’re just using it as steps and extra activity then no need to worry about hr

What do you mean training is flying but you are recovering poorly? If training is progressing then you are recovering. Being tired is fine. But if you feel like you need a reset then take a few days completely off and then get back to it. If you feel better at first and then go right back to feeling bogged down then you may need to look at training volume, nutrition, outside recovery modalities etc

Going only by the info you provided I’d say give it more than just a week before thinking it’s not working. If things still aren’t moving then you may just need to increase deficit more via cardio / food

Hey man. If you’re progressing right now and body composition is in a good place I would just carry on as is. Adjust the diet as needed based on your training performance and recovery, and watch visuals as you go along and you can toggle food accordingly to not get overly fat

I wouldn’t overthink it too much. If your blood pressure is good and you’re peeing well, I think 1-1.5g per meal is good or if you don’t weigh on a scale then like 5 cranks on a shaker etc. Main thing is just being consistent

For me personally I would prefer morning. But that’s me, not you. Try both each for a week and see which you like better, which you perform better, and which you recover from better.
