  • It’s hard to say bud without seeing what you look like and monitoring your progress as you go along with this plan. We can’t predict how it will go for you. You just have to try it and see

Of course is “okay” to do so. But the key is understanding why you’re not recovering and make the adjustments to fix the cause

There’s a different “right” way for everyone

I personally never ate off plan meals because I didn’t have a reason to, I chose to do everything with a specific purpose and “just because” never had a purpose for me

But for clients that have families and want to use that as their purpose for a meal in the off season then I just have them replace one of their meals. You can have a meal off and it be sensible and not cause any harm to your goal
The biggest thing is don’t overthink it, if you’re having the meal with your family to be enjoyable, overthinking and calculating will rob the enjoyment. Just know how to be sensible without overthinking

Don’t worry about if it sounds right. If you like it and you’re progressing that’s what matters

Go into each training session with the same mindset, consistent execution and intensity. Don’t assume just bc you’re dieting you lose strength. Don’t be emotionally attached to the weight, aim to give your all to every rep the same way every session

Take the rest man. It’s not going to hurt you, it’s only going to help you.
If you’re recovering that well and don’t feel battered at all I would question your training execution and intent behind your reps. Are you training the muscle to failure ?

We need more context to actually answer this question. How’s diet etc outside of training? Is the be increase just from fat? Are you natural? If you’re progressing in training using proper execution and not cheating the progression then your physique will be progressing

8 lbs down from when? After the low days and the high day? If you dropped again after the high day you can just repeat that again for a second day in a row and then assess from there. If you get the bump needed from that you can pull back down rinse and repeat
