Team , so a bit better today …was sick and tired of it all , did a little pull session.., nothing crazy , half my normal volume. See how I wake up tomorrow ., but for now I feel battered so bed it is with everything crossed I don’t regress cry…;;

Would like to hear your argumentsThe quads not only do you have multiple muscles that make up the full musculature, but each of these muscles has multiple subdivisions. For instance the leg extension will challenge the rectus femori very effectively but in the short range .
But there are other muscles that also make up the quad that need training too and also need challenging at longer lengths , this is where the pendulum , heel elevated squats , jack squats and hip presses come in. I don’t think throwing short positions out is going to be better for hypertrophy, but rather making sure you include lengthened work as the primary exercise during dedicated hypertrophy training.

I would just focus on doing lateral raise variations frequently across the week across multiple rep ranges.

Personally I’d still try come down a touch more and get more leaner get those abs fully popping to allow you a longer runway to push up .

Hello guys we are better but still not out of the woods .. voice hasn’t fully come back yet and it’s like I am whispering . I don’t feel too bad in myself but feel very lethargic as I am not sleeping well at night with all the coughing and that .. hopefully we can cross the bridge with this asap

if you want to see were your thyroid numbers are based on thyroid meds then keep them as is.
Rest for 48 hours pre bloods.

Day 5
At least voice is back … chest full of phlegm and some traces of blood , but hopefully a new prescription of different antibiotics tomorrow should help .Another early night .. every night of sleep is a night closer to full recovery

I don’t think you can overdo them as the body is in constant need of hydration to help the body deal with physical and mental stress . Most electrolytes are under dosed anyway. So no need to worry about it . If anything you’ve covered that base .

I am with doc … drop the volume down and have one working set on your compounds .
Then maybe think of running two rotations too and that way you can get a longer progressive runway.So session could look like
Leg curl x 2
Leg ext x 2
Squat variation x 1
Leg press x 1
Calves x 2Then on rotation B you can run similar setup but different machines .
