At 22 I would hold off going on cycle. I’d look at my blind spots and what other variables I could maximise first before going on cycle .
Your runway for progress at 22 is still quite long considering you still don’t train hard enough & that’s just because it takes time , your diet could be better , adherence could improve & all other things .

Hi guys thanks for the replies, I’m not sure which version of the prime you guys have used but I have the pin loaded one and for me personally setting 1 is the only one which I feel is good as setting 2 and 4 are both stupidly hard at the contraction like harder then a hammer chest press is at lockout and obviously there’s no point top peg loading a leg extension so I think I may just do 2 different rep ranges on setting 1 for the prime ?
So perhaps on your leg session you can start with setting 2 which you should be able to do as at that point you are very fresh and the chances you can challenge the quad in the short range is high . Start with a weight you can achieve this & even pause for a second at the top if you want .

Well personally I would not say there’s a good time to do this as the risk to reward ratio
Is too high .
Jordan only takes them when the stars align , when he really feels good ..
For most of us they wouldn’t apply .. if you over shoot your load and end up there it’s one case, but actually just aiming for 3 reps I’d advice against.

Awesome pull session this afternoon, felt good just hitting pull after a while as I’ve been doing chest and back .

You can use prime leg extension in both sessions and load it differently, or have it at different points in the session & also load it differently.

I’d personally programme them as the main tricep compound . And if I have another push rotation I’d then use close grip bench for variety .

A few issues here , IMO whilst dieting , push sessions seem to take a hit first for majority of people .
But in your case I think you’ve had execution issues for a while that you’ve not addressed and they probably just more magnified at the moment all things considered .
In don’t think the incline angle ? is the problem, I suspect your set up & intent is .

DELTS & ARMS
Top top session this afternoon, Atlantis shoulder press is now at 225kg ..in the last two weeks it’s been a 1.25kg a side , then this week another 1.25kg a side …slowly but surely taking mini wins which eventually accumulate to big wins..

Not much to report , been a long day in work , but very productive. The day has literally flew.I still feel the effects of yesterday session, so I’ll aim for an early bed tonight.

I don’t see a problem doing a brisk walk outside instead of incline treadmill, so long as you meet the goal .. if it’s an expenditure target , make sure you hit it .

4 days out it’ll have to be rock bottom volume … as any overkill will have you inflamed and blur any detail .
4 days out IMO you should have done your last leg session and let them recover from the cardio and weight sessions ..
Thanks I recover quite quickly and my legs always look best 3-4 days after . It’s gonna have to be about 6 sets max 12 reps loads in tank just to get some blood in .

Big leg session this afternoon… high reps the focus .. I sort of rotate every two weeks and hit high reps as my knee doesn’t allow me to work with max loads continuously.
Today I went as high as possible.. taking first set on a seated leg press 250 for 20 reps , 300 for 16 reps & back down 200 for 26 reps .. that was after 3 sets of leg extensions.. my legs were that pumped it was painful to touch them … but hey we move ..
going to be a long nite at this rate ?
