    Yes you can do it every 4 days because at this point you are still not strong at the movement and it makes sense to up the frequency from a skill acquisition point , but also because you’ll be able to handle the recovery demands too.

    Not feeling the best still .. I am not worse but I am a tad better but still not out of the woods. I literally went in for an hour today just to asses where I was at & didn’t feel good so I packed it in for the day .

    Tried to rest as much , vitamin c , echinacea & sambucol every 4 hours . It’ll be an early bed for me too . I’ll try get up early again tomorrow and go into work & see how I feel .

    What does your diet and current PED protocol consist of Oscar? Would love to know your pre intra and post meals currently now based on the amazing gym performance I’ve seen in your last few videos!

    I am currently on my 4th week cruising on 200 test .

    My pre workout meal is
    90g baby rice
    60g whey
    200g strawberries

    I drink a big 1.5L coconut water for my intra .

    REST DAY
    Been in all day . I felt a bit of a blocked nose and tickly throat yesterday but I put that down to end week fatigue plus a tough Session.
    But I’d have a restless night & wake ip this morning with persistent symptoms.
    So just stayed still majority of the day , overdose on echinacea, vitamin c & staying hydrated.
    Calling it an early one tonight .

    Good morning,

    Finally settled in Manchester. Some issues in the apartment as the stove wasn’t working and had no pots to cook (exactly what a bodybuilder needs right? ??), but fortunately everything was solved. Despite all that, had time to go to FLF just know the facility where I’ll be working out on the next days. Such a great environment and also an amazing staff. Wanted to workout straight away ? but had to get food and solve apartment issues. Really looking forward for next week’s sessions and to learn directly from @youngoscar ??

    As for today, heading to Rotherham in a bit to do a leg workout at Ultraflex.

    CHEST AND BACK
    Check in done first thing this a.m, sitting at 110kg on the dot . This is week 4 of cruise and not much is happening, just fighting to hold onto strength. So far so good .

    Session smashed to smithereens earlier this afternoon & I am left smashed as a result. Lol . pB’s pretty much taken across the board in load & reps alike .

    Not much to report as it’s that point where we just need to get head down, work & come out of this phase having held onto performance. Trust I am doing everything in my power to make sure that happens.

    Mostly from a recovery standpoint, sleep is even more prioritised , naps are a must too . Treatments, sauna & all .

    Rest day tomorrow, so lie in to start and feet up all day with bits of admin littered through the day . 🙂

    Yes a seated dip machine will be a good alternative, simply from a stability standpoint it’s less demanding on your joints , the line of force is slightly different or can be adjusted depending on set up or the machine .
    You can always start light too and adjust the weight .
    Better yet if it’s prime fitness seated dip machine, you can alter the strength curves to suit.
    Try it and let us know how you fair . If it still hurts there’s loads of other alternatives Ozzy

    There’s no right or wrong here . First of all you have to ask if your current set up is helping you progress. If the answer is yes . Stick with it .

    You can BB row and deadlift in the same session, chances are you’ll struggle to recover from two lower back loading movements and it’ll end up affecting subsequent lower sessions.

    If you are running one pull session, I’d choose between the bent over row & deadlift , run with the movement you choose till you can’t progress, at which point I’d then introduce the other movement and do the same

    Absolutely done in from yesterday session. Hamstrings are toast, glutes are sore even to sit on. Lol
    But that was an intense session. And it’s a day of rest after all .
    I have worked this morning, had a few meetings , now back home , cook, eat, read and then early bed awaiting .

    A split that’s working , a split you can recover from & will help you put tissue all over .

    Then at some point down the line , when you have rinsed all that set up has to offer , you can move to a split that’ll incorporate density day and all that. ?

    Thanks for the advice Oscar. I do very well with the push pull off legs off setup. Sometimes I just see what others are doing and it can be distracting although I rarely change splits. In that case, if I have 2 pull days A and B with RDLs on Pull A. Would you run another hip hinge variation on Pull B or just do the one for recovery’s sake? Thanks ?

    You recognising you get distracted by seeing what others are doing or sometimes as we all do think , that others are doing better than us because they are doing certain stuff we are not , is a moment of power. So we just have to check ourselves and remind ourselves that we must not let others distract us from our own process, we must not let others speed up our process.

    To answer your question about the pulls I’d go with one variation just for the sole reason of practicing skill acquisition aspect of the hinge as hinging is a skill first before anything. So frequency in practice makes you better .

    HAMS & GLUTES
    Up at ultra flex this afternoon with kuba and the gang . Sessions up here are something else , atmosphere is immense & energy feels right.
    Veered off plan a bit and pulled RDL’s . They felt very good with each warm up & I eventually built up to 6pps and pulked that for 4 reps . Not so bad not having RDL’d in about 2 years .
    Rest of the session was stellar and I am
    Now wiped out .
    I cannot wait for rest day tomorrow. 🙂
