I am very much with max on that point of sticking to this load and just perfecting your skill. As Hip hinging is a skill , and we have to have periods where we place the same emphasis we place on overload on actually getting better on the skill.
So I’m the end every variable is present , the skill , load exposure & effort .

HAMS & GLUTES
Very happy with session today considering the last rotation I skewed my set up on SLDL set.
Today my conventional deads were flying . Up a kilo and 2 reps up leaving me in the higher end of the rep range, very very happy with that set.
The SLDL set also a kilo up and a rep up . Set up could still be better and I’ve ordered matting to add on the floor.
I’ve swapped the seated ham curl for the kneeling ham curl as I’m at the ceiling of my strength and it’s starting to expose my strength imbalances massively , that much I feel like the dominant leg’s hamstring is going to tear.
So I’ve made the executive decision to move into the kneeling ham which I will be working in a unilateral fashion which will improve not only strength imbalance but muscle too .
Rest of the session was a success . Absolutely battered but happy .

DELTS AND ARMS
I had a very productive session this afternoon that we filmed for the site . A bit different of a session to film but also I realise most of us don’t pay as much attention to these smaller muscle groups .
That’s why they are weak points in most of our physiques , mine included. So today I went through the why and went through set up and execution tips of each movement.
Hopefully this will help once video is out , possibly next week at some point.

Post workout deep tissue depends on how hard, how deep the treatment is.
Personally I don’t see anything wrong with hands on massage post workout , so long as there’s nothing intrusive like dry needling , shock therapy and stuff like that which will impinge recovery .tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

QUADS
Session was surprisingly productive doing it first thing.. but it was a proper effort & I really notice a massive difference training on one meal.
But the job got done & there’s another one in the bag. We move on. 
Rest day tomorrow, I will have a well overdue treatment to prepare me for Thursday pull .
I always like to have 2 sleeps after a treatment to allow the body to recalibrate.
Otherwise without enough time between treatment and training , the stuff that’s been loosened that’s always tight to protect you during certain movements are now to supple to do that and as a result leave you very vulnerable .tb-jp.com/collections/clothing - The most anabolic clothing ever! |

Literally done nothing at all today . Just full day of rest then went cinema this evening to watch north men … give it a 7/10.

Hinging after 3 sleeps will take its toll over time . Mostly as you get stronger , your recovery demands will increase significantly.

Very happy with my pressing this afternoon..took PB’s across the board.

I would side with rich here ..look at your needs and train accordingly. It’s valid to want to enjoy your training too . But if progress is at the fore front of your plans, I’d choose a group yes type split , and get cracking. 🙂

REST DAY
I had a good day in work this morning. I’ve just been chilled this afternoon pottering around the house and spending time with myself.
I plan to keep doing the same for the rest of the evening and then go to bed early.

Session was ok today . It was almost perfect but I fumbled up my set up for the SLDL and it cost me two reps . The blocks were not properly secured and they just kept moving each set which in turn put me off.
Absolutely fuming but only myself to blame if I’m honest .
Lesson learned , we live to fight another day.
Otherwise rest of the session was productive .
