Good day today …some lovely walks & went out to the pictures this evening. Watched ‘dune’ on IMAX screen and really enjoyed it.
Felt very relaxed after and just preparing for bed as I go back up north tomorrow.
The ecological system says Anything that takes more than it gives will destroy the soil . You see farmers letting the ground rest because you have to put something back into something that you are taking.

Hey team , I have come away down south for a few days just to take some time out.
I haven’t properly taken time off post show as when i got back , I went straight into work . So 3 nights here should help get some mental clarity back and freshen the physique too. Leg day for me today … very very happy with the session.. 6.5 plates on the pendulum.. but I’ll going to have to hold it there , add some reps whilst possibly tidying it up a bit more.. session was filmed for the site , so will be dropping sometime next week . 🙂

Personally I’d keep the volume the same to start and see how I get on first .

Push today after a rest day yesterday.. a very good session I must say as numbers are up significantly. Which shows that I’m slowly recovering abs getting back to myself on a daily basis.

Pull today and I woke up with a stiff neck this morning . Tried to get in for treatment but with no luck. A few of the lads dug their elbows in and things felt a bit looser .
An hours nap later , I took a punt .To my surprise , not only did I manage to deadlift but in got a PB.. I Feel ecstatic ?! I’ll need a treatment anyway just to flush this back as haven’t had one since before Norway. And that should set me up again for a good run .
Those dead’s set the tone for the rest of the session, so everything flew as I was on a high.

Are the sets of 20 to 30 reps always linear or do you prefer to use extensive techniques and extend the set from 8 – 12 reps to 20-25 reps by drops or rest pause sets etc?
I prefer linear sets at this moment. Not to say extensive techniques are inferior but this is our preference at the moment. 🙂

In terms of the 3 splits I’d go with
LEGS/PUSH/REST/LEGS/REST/PULL/REST
This would allow for max intensity, max effort, decent volume & a chance to meet the recovery demands.
That done , I’d then ask myself.
•How’s my execution
•How hard do I train ?
