You should strip all your weight and start again. I’d check set up first, because that then determines how you execute the movement.

Push yesterday was a battle , but it was expected at this point of prep .. fought hard and managed to hold onto numbers. I always feel push is the first session to be challenging. But hey we fought tooth and nail .
We will keep on fighting tooth and nail. I am very happy considering I’ve ran this program since late December last year . Some of these lifts I’m matching whilst 15kg lighter in body weight.
Pull today was a success. Managed to add a rep to my RDL top set and back off set. And beat the rest of the lifts .
Very happy though battered after 2 days back to back and can’t wait for rest day tomorrow. 🙂

No I wouldn’t be worried, I’d try again. Missing a lift once isn’t a call to change things . Personally I’ve given lifts 3 chances before taking action

Fat grip dumbbells have done it for me,not because that was the plan , but those are the dumbbells available in my gym so forearm have grown by default

Rest day! Thank God! Legs are in bits from yesterday workout.
I’ve had a niggling trap that I’ve had treatment on today , so that was good .
Rest of the day was admin & cooking…
Early bed tonight as it’s 2 days back to back training starting tomorrow with push 🙂

And also you have to honestly asses the QUALITY of the work you are doing on the gym floor.
That’s from a EXECUTION standpoint and an EFFORT standpoint… then how standardised is the progression. ?

Leg day today was a bloody success !! Feeling very elated.. quality of work done is always the priority, followed by load …and they were all progressed . Because it’s what happens internally that’s the priority, both these variables have to reflect that.
And then it’s a case of improving both .
Today has been a good day.
A walk to reflect abs prepare for the week . 🙂

Like Meg has mentioned above, extreme dedication, extreme consistency across all variables, extreme hard work , patience because your days will be monotonous and even though you mention drugs you still can’t go around time …

Push out of the way , I’m happy with performance this afternoon. Big lifts progressed .
Pump evident ..
Push is a funny one and I think it’s the first one that Strentgh starts to be testing when I’m prep , but we are all good to date .
One session at a time for now . 🙂

Or maybe that’s not the only movement you can do and try something else that doesn’t cause you aggro if this movement causes you grief .

Oh, they are! SLDL on leg day and Rack on back! i just noted my lifts for the week, actually i still figuring out my split since as you can see its a 5 day one, if you have any input id appreciate!!

legs

back

chest

off

shoulders

arms

off

repeat.

Ok I would still replace the rack lift with the SLDL on pull day .

I’d then do

Chest

Back

Off

Legs

Off

Shoulders

That way you got 2 sleeps before you lower back load again between the SLDL & the squat on leg day
@youngoscar Thanks alot for your input, and you know what? yesterday i was debating myself after you mentioned SLDL and the Rack pull impairing one and another performance, so yesterday i didnt do SLDL on leg day however today i sneaked it in as my first exercise, then moved to the BBrow… Btw, as you can see i am not really strong, so, i usually do 1 warm up (15x), 2 sets upping weight (10, 8 reps) and 2 working sets of 6 to 8 for each exercise, would say it is enough “effort” and volume? i usually get really sore adductors from my leg days for like 3 to 4 days… but sometimes i feel i’m not doing enough, again, thanks for the help!
It’s not about how much you are doing but the QUALITY of the work you are doing , and whether you can recover from it .

So for me , I’d only SLDL on pull day and the rest of the movements I’d use machines which have got a more stable profile and not as demanding stability wise .

Then that way on leg day you are even fresher to attack that leg session. Now not only are you fully recovered, but you are now attacking both pull and leg day with the same intensity & ferocity
You’re right @youngoscar ! for example, my Leg day was monday and i still sore, specially my Adductors and the vastus medialis, i mean, really sore… now, about the back, i feel alot of my lats, specially the lower part, those muscles stays sore up to about saturday, then around sunday i feel they’re getting recovered! by any means i head soreness isnt the best indicator but its what i’m using to gauge it, now, shoulders and arms are muscles i usually dont get sore whatsoever! even tho i put effort in them, usually my last set i leave for failure, something like a 4 sec rep, really grinding, the only ones i dont go to failure are squats, bb bench and close grip bench since my gym doesnt have cage or hack squats. Anyway, thanks again for your help! hope i can bring up my legs
They are smaller muscles that recover quicker … that’s why
