Scale edging down slowly .. not by much but moving the right direction so we will take that with both hands .

As Jordan says , anything that can get you to retract and ‘bunch’ your upper back together will work wonders .. just focus on getting super strong with standardised execution

Scale weight down 0.6kg . We will take that all things considered .
Pull session was productive..work got done and progress taken across all lifts . A biscuit here , a plate there and some reps too .

Scale weight held this morning. Stomach has been feeling a bit dodgy with bloat but we are keeping an eye on it .
Push session was a go this afternoon. All movements progressed . Posted some clips on my insta .
Also shared some tips or blind spots to look at if your chest is lagging . I’ll post here too . If you’re struggling to develop your chest muscles, assuming your set up and form is correct, one important thing you could focus on is the lockout phase of the rep. This is where our chests are weakest, and we often tend to avoid this part either consciously or subconsciously to make it easier for ourselves.
The more you shy away from challenging your chest at this point, the more difficult it will be to improve. If you’re progressively increasing the weight you lift, it will only become harder to reach that full range of motion.
One strategy you can try is to adjust your weights slightly and target this specific portion , or incorporate a pause during the lockout phase to familiarize yourself with the sensation and see your chest grow .

Thought I’d drop by to say hello and read your log . What I love most about your intro is the fact that though you have a goal to step onstage at some point , it’s not at the forefront of your mind constantly, but training is .
The reason I say that is because most have got it the other way round and end up in a perpetual state of disappointment because they don’t prioritise the training . The obsession with getting strong , getting accurate, building intensity, building effort and all that will by default get you to the stage anyway.
So keep going , keep giving it a good crack on a daily basis and let’s see where we end up in another 6-12 months .

Scale weight held this morning.. gotta feed i wasn’t expecting to be fair so that really helped in energy levels and resulted in a going session this afternoon at ultra flex derby with Nathan and Phoebe .
Back in Manchester now . Early bed and rest day tomorrow as normal.

Rest day today , scales up 0.2kg , look is better , so we carry on working . Full day in work . Another interview this afternoon…too young unfortunately.
Came to see Nathan and Phoebe , gone through some posing rounds this evening upon arrival, then it’s bed . Posing tomorrow morning, then legs later at ultra flex derby ..

Another little drop of about 0.5kg this morning so that was nice .. busy busy day on the gym floor today and I think I prefer it that way to be honest .. minds occupied and each time I stop for a break it’s meal time & then training time and that … ideal .
Pull session was decent, productive all things considered and we will take that with both hands . I did film a couple of sets that I’ll post tomorrow on IG ..
Other than that not much to report, just work to be done ✔️

0.8kg drop this morning leaving me at 98.6kg ..happy with that as we push forward.
Excellent push session this afternoon in the engine room .. it turned out even better than in thought . Took mini wins from start to finish … going to bed very very happy boy tonight .

Rest day for me today . A very busy but productive day with clients in the gym floor and interviewing aspiring pt’s who want to join the team .
Posing rounds done first thing , Meals ate on time , steps boxed off and now bed on time .
