    Hello Tobi,

Well I speak in my name and in the name of other Pro Athletes :

If body building makes you spend more than earning : then you have to get a normal job next to it (coach, nurse, driver, idk plumber whatever)

If body building is making you earn more than it costs to you : having a job next to it can be a choice / you can have the freedom for more creation for another source of income for example

I personnally worked all my life after my studies and when I became Pro I was still working in informatics, but then the sports visibility I had opened some doors to me and I could change from my previous work, into being a self boss and being posing teacher full time : passion work bodybuilding related.

Except a few rare pros, no one can survive with a prize money or influencer commission

    Hello Luke

Well you are only in your real second year if it makes sense.

First year was not 100% cause you discover a bit everything and second year the training was not the one supposed to help you to grow.

I don’t know if you are followed by a coach, but a bit of help on this side should be great for you.

Some people take muscle faster than some others (even training like shit and eating like shit or not eating enough) and though it’s a game of genetics BUT you need to get a proper guidance for you to reach your goals

I was working out in the past for few years but doing everything by myself, so I gave up cause progresses were not maximized…

Then I did not workout during 10 years and finally I found out a coach and I understood the proper guidance is the key for results : the speed you will get results will depends on your consistency and intensity at the gym + genetics, but don’t loose motivation please, just get someone who gonna help you to understand that “maybe” a different way will work for you.

There are so many factors that you may not apply that can slow down your progresses and maybe that you ignore.

I thought I had a bad genetic for bodybuilding 18 years ago… and due to my coach I hired 8 years ago, I discovered the opposite… and been twice Olympian athlete 🥺

If you got dream bud, take a GPS to find the way to it.

So, to sum up, the volume of the meal itself, even if we are temporarily bloated after it, will not permanently affect our waistline, but only temporarily? but a large amount of calories (even trying to reduce the volume of food) + a large amount of drugs + building huge muscle mass can only spoil our waistline? it seemed logical to me because there are many competitors, even men physique, who do a challenge such as eating 5 meals, each weighing 3-4 kg, and their waistlines are sucked in the next morning. and it was equally important to me that a large amount of water added to cor/oatmeal would not have a negative impact on the waistline, and in some cases even positively. I hope I’m not wrong now.

    Thank you!
The part of the men’s physique with the challenge is dangerous brother !!! That’s exactly what people should not try : this can create a diastasis recti !!!! Particularly if the guys have very tight abs and small stomach since a while : pushing volume in one night like hell can litterally elongate your abs
I know you did physio studies etc etc and on the paper it looks not that dangerous as they wakeup with flat belly the day after : but there are exceptions !!! Many competitors post show did injured their mid sections ! So yes normally it’s supposed to be temporary but you can injured yourself
And I am so sorry but everyone say you here that food volume can enlarge your waist on the long run, I am not the only one !
If you do one shot food volume, you might have luck and wakeup tight in the morning, good for you, but you might injured yourself also : many relatives I had fucked their waistline in one night !
If you do too much food volume than your body can handle/digest/accept and that you train on top of the bloat and cannot realize your breathing work : you will enlarge your waist permanently yes sir.

Regarding veggies, too much veggies are not good either, you need them but don’t abuse, many girls are abusing veggies in bikini and they are bloated everyday of the year, being bloated expand your abs muscle on the long run, keep the amount needed, not more not less and if you feel you got way too much carbs, go for honey or cream of rice tbjp to relief the belly

I studied physiotherapy. Eating alone cannot cause a linea alba to appear, and if it does occur (usually due to training and genetics), it does not widen the waist, but influences its control. I also don’t understand how flatulence helps build abdominal muscles? unless it’s temporary? Jordan wrote something different than you above.

He wrote clearly that the volume of food does not affect the waistline, but the amount of calories consumed, a huge number of calories and drugs. I also talked to a dietician friend and he said, like Jordan, that we can expand our stomach with the volume of food, but all this is not permanent, only temporary[/quote]

I have a different point of view on this one
Being bloated without farting and training on top of this don’t allow you to control your core and breathing while working out, pushing abs out enlarge the waist on the long run, I have seen it occurs many times
Studies are one thing, but then comes the people who experienced the opposite.

Normally if the rebound is decent and done step by step, no problem for your waistline

Some bikini created a diastasis recti (elongation of abs muscle like during pregnancy) in post show with binging or just pushing too much food in once, this can be serious for your waist line.

Also bad rebound, not smart lifting (bad breathing) and drug can enlarge your waistline.

I advise you to be careful with the drugs and the training, more than the food itself

Organs grow also with drugs type/amount, also coupled with super heavy hard lifting and breathing left on the side and huge amounts of foods : you can see a lot of belly distensions in the big boys classes like open body building.

My advice : go step by step with your food, priviledge your breathing and technique while working out, even with heavy weights, and stay reasonable in drugs

Hello guys, today same fasted routine.

Travel day, so no workout today and also no cardio since the coach has decided to stop it cause weight was dropping too fast.

10h20 of plane from Paris to Salt Lake City, and we are 6 days out from the Wasatch Warrior Pro.

Nothing more to add : I was supposed to write this log while being in the plane, but there was no Wifi like promised 🥲

I did carry all my meals ready for today, and once at the hotel, I check-in for my coach to decide what gonna be the meals for the rest of the day and the days after.

Update of the check in : 57,5kg with almost all my diet done and 5L water

So we gonna add one more meal and some fats

Next update to you tomorrow 👌🏽
