Morning bud. I have this issue with mine too. It’s strange. I genuinely do think morning is a time which can be dictated by so many factors. On the whole you can see your in a good position from the readings throughout the day. If after a 6-8 hour sleep- fast you can rest assured you will be within range. I wouldn’t pay too much attention to it bud

I think they’re a great idea. I always try and minimise grip on any curl as that gives me a much greater connection

I would use it as a last resort and something you’d bring in when output is high and calories are at a point where you don’t want to bring them much lower in fear of a performance dip or will lead to run flat quickly. Bring the clen in as a tool to be able to keep food high if anything. Start at 20mcg and slowly increase

How did you feel prior to the surgery?

I have a inguinal hernia myself, currently 4 weeks out from Comp. I’ve had their hernia for years but recently has gotten bigger where previous it sat right above my groin now it sort of dips into the scrotum. Still no pain or discomfort but a bit worrying. How long did it take before your were back in the gym? And from what I’ve gathered you have had complications post surgery?

Initially just like I’d been hit by a bus from the anaesthetic. Sore and tight but not too bad. Then for the next 5 days I was in agony. Everything was hard – even the simplest of things. Putting socks on etc. After that until now it’s still uncomfortable but the pain eases daily but I’m no where near recovered. It’s still painful to touch down there. And the swelling is still there. I’m light training now so around 2.5 weeks before I went to the gym but this is now me training completely different to usual with a lot of things I am nowhere near ready to do- legs, heavy compounds etc. I had complications from the anaesthetic not the surgery bud.

I’m like Mark I’ve took all my bits all over the world before. I’d take all supps, orals and injectables in my hold luggage. Vitamins and supplements I need for meals I take in hand luggage no problem

Hit some pull earlier today guys. Again had a good session. Also kept it all machines as I did push and stayed breathing through my chest and not exerting force through my core. My core/hernia felt stronger than yesterday which is also a huge bonus for me. I’ve ran out of tb500 and bpc 157 and continuing with the growth. I’ve decided not to buy any more peptides and see how I get on with recovery now. It’s hard to tell how effective they were so this should potentially shed some light on that. If I feel it’s slowed I’ll bring them back in. But it’s an expensive run having 10mg tb500 a week and bpc157 along with gh. Tb500 is around £30 for 5mg and bpc is around £25 for 5mg. Do the maths ????.

    Chest supported row 2×12
    T bar machine row – 2×20
Single arm machine row to hip – 2×12
    Mag grip pull down 3×15
    Seated cable row – 2×15
    Dumbbell bicep curl 3×12
    Machine shrugs – 2×12
    Leg extension 3×20
    Single leg press – 3×15
    Calf raise 3×20

Tomorrow I’ll rest and then back to a light push session maybe Weds or Thursday. Will keep this style of training and with leg top ups on push and pull until I can train properly again! Thanks guys hope everyone has had a good Monday.

    Hey fella

You’re looking ace in them pics, keep the light pumping going and do take it easy – your body will thank you for it in the long run. This will all be a distant memory and you’ll be blasting away in no time. As someone who has been out with some big injuries – distal biceps rupture being my worst – know a bit about taking your time and letting the body heal.

    Keep on keeping on man.

Thanks mate. I’m being super careful not to push anything too far. Thank you bud I feel I look ok so I’m not too down considering I haven’t trained properly at all and I’m 3 weeks post surgery tomorrow

I’d say based off of what you’ve said its hydration. Also I find I sometimes have to test a few consecutively as they aren’t that accurate. I’d aim to get 500-1L water in before testing. Sat relaxed and keep the conditions the same each morning. Hydration. Stress etc can throw a test out easily.

I’d most definitely get a gda in place before making any adjustments – then assess again based on how that helps.

Hey guys!! Had a good session today! Felt really good. I kept it very sensible. Everything was machine based apart from dumbbell lateral raises. Got an insane pump. Felt good to use mps max again too!! So, I was very very cautious and kept reps between 10-20 on each exercise. Didn’t go to complete failure but still got a great feel and felt like I’d trained.- not like before surgery where I felt spent after a session. But today i definitely fatigued my chest and delts that’s for sure !

Cable lateral raise – 3×15 – no cuffs as I just went without any kit or log book. These are still very much feeler/pump sessions.

    Incline smith 2×10 1×15
    Machine shoulder press 2×15 1×20
    Flat machine chest press 2×12
    Dumbbell lateral raise 3×15
    Pec fly machine 3×15
Single arm rope push down – 2×15

Attached a couple of pics from ze pump

So nearly three weeks after surgery then matey. How are your veins looking now? That must’ve been scary as hell for everyone.

Training’s not all about explosive movements and massive lifts. Ensuring the movement is accurate is important for most. I couldn’t get away with sloppy technique over the long haul – doesn’t build muscle for me and just destroys joints. I know a few guys who can and their physiques are blimming massive so fair play. Worked for Coleman, Warren and Jonnie Jackson though. Boggles the mind to think how much better they could possibly be with perfect technique. Look forward to seeing more of your upcoming vids in the near future.

Good to hear, sound like a first rate father to me =) How do you find having children during the darker days of prep such as being a week or two out of a comp? Depending on their age, must be difficult to understand that mum or dad don’t have the energy to be as fun even though it’s killing them inside.

Definitely agree with you. My OH takes such good care of me and it really gives you some perspective of how much they love you, but also how much you love them. Sometimes it’s so easy to forget what you have with this modern day pace of life. They’re always fighting in your corner and supportive.

Yes mate. 3 weeks Tuesday! They’re still not back to normal which is annoying. I’m going to have to call the doctors next week and see what they have to say. It was the scariest day of my life with a doubt. Literally thought I was going to die.

Yeah very true. Those guys are freaks. I imagine they can look at weights and grow. Insane to think what they’d look like being meticulous. Less injuries that’s for sure !

Thanks bud. I think end of April I’ll get another in. More than likely a push session.

Thank you mate. I love being a dad. I love to care and see my children smile. It’s the best feeling in the world. Tbh it’s the only time I dislike prep. Where I feel my job as a father slips and I become less of one than I usually am. I hope in time they’ll understand though and without competing and fitness would I be successful? Would I have what I have now ? Maybe not so it’s been warranted and I always make sure I make up for any short falls on my behalf.

Exactly. It definitely makes you realise how lucky you are with all the broken relationships you see left right and centre. Sounds like a good woman you have bud. Keep hold of her and make sure she knows you love her to bits.
