You have to run a process of elimination in my opinion find which foods are causing the bloat then substitute them until you feel you can eat without any issues.

Hey guys. Had a good day today. Went to the local leisure centre gym. Majority of members are over 50 years old. Kit is v v limited and there’s no atmosphere. This is exactly what I wanted. I went in. Took my time. Got a good feel on some pulling movements. No logging. No big lifts. But it felt good and didn’t get any issues which is v positive. I did some machine lat pull down, seated chest supported machine row, chest supported dual db row, straight arm pull down, db bicep curl. Cable bicep curl. Notice everything is supported and nothing of a big compound. Next week we try some more. Or if I feel up to it I’ll try Sunday. Of course I’ll keep u posted guys. Hope your all well

I’d base output on the goal. If your in off season I wouldn’t add cardio if I was already doing 20k steps. James is a full time pro bodybuilder so I’m sure his step count outside of cardio is fairly low. Although answering your original question, cardio for me is something that requires effort and a heart rate of circa 120-130 ish bpm. Not just steps.

How’s it going guys. Had a really good day today. Apart from the wound being sore I felt the best I have felt yet. And I am now thinking positively again and looking forward to this weekend. Will definitely get some light training in and see where we’re at. Today I ran some errands in town with my other half. Nice weather and got to stretch my legs round town. I am training a client first thing tomorrow morning so that will be nice for another change of scenery. I know my logs boring guys and I’m sorry but like I said before it won’t be long and ill be updating you with training logs and getting more on film.

I prepped a female who had chrons last year. It’s pretty simple really. Find the foods that cause you the least issues and be very strict maintaining those foods throughout your diet. It’s boring. But boring gets results. I do the same for myself when in off season or pre contest and I haven’t got any real stomach issues. The body and digestive system likes routine, find what works and stick to it.

Evening guys, so as you know I was after a chill day again today. Lol. Didn’t happen. To be fair I forgot I arranged to Pt a client. It’s a lady who has Down syndrome and I just love her so I didn’t want to go another week without seeing her. It makes her day and it really brightens mine up too. So rewarding. Anyway yeah I Pt’d came home and ended up clearing the garage out. Lol. But I feel ok now. Not too shattered. Having a chilled evening. Just a heads up on how I’m feeling. So being out and not training had me thinking I was going to be tiny and completely vanish when I couldn’t train lol. Obviously I haven’t and I’m surprised my shapes not too bad. So if anyone’s facing a lay off. Just know it won’t be the end of you. You won’t lose much and you’ll come back fresh ready to improve. . I can’t wait to start training properly again. I miss the competition. I miss my place of sanity. The place of reliability. The gym is always there for me. Always has been. If I ever need a break I train majority on my own you see. I just go and it’s like ahhh serious therapy. I’m sure you guys can relate. So that’s the hardest thing. But it is no doubt making so hungry and determined to come back better than ever. So we will see and you will all be first to know how it goes. Have a good night guys.

I don’t think there is a too low. Go as low as you need to. That and output of course. If you don’t want to go low then start ramping cardio up. I’ve been very low before I think many have. What helped me was building calories steadily and consistently across my off season and give it time. Be as strict as you would on a prep with food I eat the same food day in day out.. I was so meticulous. Ended up finishing my diet on over 3k kcals and 350g carbs.

Hello people ! Decided to have a chilled day today but ended up running errands that I needed to sort. So I’m feeling shattered again. Lol. Yesterday whipped me a bit and made me think I need to relax and stop rushing. So I’ll try and have a more chilled day tomorrow and literally relax all day. Notice I say try because I’ll no doubt get ants in my pants and need to stretch my legs. Lol. Another reason I can’t wait to get to training is to try PREpare ! Who else is buzzing for that?

Awww man so no pbs for now then!? Sounds like your head is in the right place at the moment Haider, being very sensible! After your scare recently, how is everything with you now? Enough to go through the surgery, but complications on top is a nightmare!

Obviously you’re still recovering and getting by day to day, but wondered how the family is? I’m sure they’re nothing more than supportive, however it must be strange to see their father/partner walking around one day and then the next, a slightly more vulnerable figure. Not meaning to sound patronising or anything at all. Health is so important and you don’t realise how important it is until it’s gone. Like with everything, it’s so easy to get caught up with ‘poor me, why me etc’ that people lose touch and don’t notice how it affects people around them as well.Hahaa no pbs for a good while ????
Thanks mate. I am trying my best to keep it firmly screwed on and listening to my body. Yeah surgery and the aftermath was bloody traumatic lol. My left arm is still bad. All my veins are still clotted and sore so may need to go back to get that looked at if it doesn’t clear soon. 2 weeks today since surgery.
Thanks mate. That really means a lot. I was worried it’s not the usual explosive type of video due to the exercise selection but yeah I liked it. And felt great I can’t wait to do more and improve in front of the camera.
Yeah I am doing everything now I just have to be careful when bending and lifting – kids etc. It’s impossible not to be myself and be the interactive father I am. So sometimes you do things even though there’s a little pain or it’s slightly uncomfortable- obviously nothing dangerous or sharpe but yeah I think at the beginning when I was really bad my son was like aww dad but they’re kids they’re so pre occupied with their own stuff he forgets about it everyday. Lol.
Biggest lesson of my life so far being totally dependant on my other half for 2 days. Re opens your eyes to what you have. Reminded me of the love we share and the togetherness we have. Re evaluate life very quickly in those situations._________________________________________
