Thanks for the responses everyone! If anyone can comment further, I was wondering how often i should be adding food. I understand scale weight is not something to chase, but what aspects in checkin photos should i be assessing?
The basics – I look to increase food if weight has not increased for 10-14 days and we feel body composition is in a good spot.
However there are other factors that go into it but can only be determined based off your own previous experiences. For example if you seem to gain fat easy

You have a lot of room to push up from here IMO.
Just take your time and aim for 1lb per week. Continue to asses body composition as you grow

Tuesday – leg day –
3 x 20 minute dog walks
5 meals in
Legs – still getting a feel of whats good and whats not in the new gym
lay ham curl – 4 x 6-8
Extensions – 4 x 8-10
hack – 3 x 6
Leg press – 3 x 8 – this hurt my knee/hip so won’t use again
seated ham curl – 3 x 8
1 leg extensions – 1 x 20Good session – annoyed about the leg press but there is another 1 to trial next week.
I imagine sessions are going to switch between the squat machine I used last week and the hack I used today and then either a 1 leg hip press or the other leg press I shall trial next week.

Enjoy the process more so then expecting specific results. Use it as a big learning experience, make notes of everything you do and feel daily, take lots of pics. If you can, hire a reputable coach or have a trusted pair of eyes to help guide you.

Those will likely be mid range / lengthened bias movements , as they have the longest runway for your muscular adaptations to illicit their force production on which then allows for + 1
