Clare has this one zipped up. Can get a lot done with limited kit. To add to it, if you have somewhere you can attach a pulley to, about £30-35 on Amazon. Don’t need weight plates either. You can fill a bag/sack/rucksack with pebbles etc

Thank you for everyone’s input, yesterday I was told I could have an operation in a couple of days.

Has anyone here broken there clavicle.

I don’t know if to have the surgery and plate fitted or leave it to heal naturally. It’s a clean break, not shortened or anything. I don’t know what’s best and I’ve got to make a decision tomorrow.

    Just hoping for some information.

Yes, but I was in my teens at the time (playing rugby) so the Consultant who dealt with me was reluctant to operate as I was young enough to heal quickly without issue. Looking back, it’s never hindered me, but in the 90’s there wasn’t as many gadgets and procedures as there are now, so research this type of op to death and see how you feel once you’ve studied it.

Agree with Maddy and Sas. It’ll likely be an execution fix due to your chest being “generally underdeveloped” which suggests it’s not a new issue and you’ve noticed it for some time.

The guys above have made great points.

I think communication needs to be better on both ends though. They could be more calming and thorough, explaining everything along the way and you need to be able to ask them questions so they can rationalise their decision making.

If you’re leaner and have more muscle tissue, you’re in a far better spot to start with, so they’ll be why they’re not bolting at 20.

Feeling/sensation/pumps will come as a result of training accurately and intensely. Training solely for the sensation may feel good, but you need to be sure you’re targeting the muscle accurately.

The points you mentioned above are correct. Controlling the weight whilst still giving it some is better than that just yanking weight about, risking injury whilst not fully using the intended muscle. A good example of this would be look at all the young lads in the gym who have massive arms and small chests and backs. They’ll usually be the ones bench pressing and rowing like they’re boogying at the same time 😆

The athletes on here have some unrivalled content when it comes to form and exercise breakdown…and it’s free!

    Hi mate

I like the PPL R UL R splits. This is obviously a variant

The absolute volume will come down to what you can and can’t progress, you should have some gauge on that from the PPL split you’ve been running – enough to make a sensible start point.

The split in principle is sound though.

Thanks, Rich. Seen PPL UL before but wasn’t sure if Lower Back loading in Pull before Legs was the best decision there. In your experience, how did you set up/what considerations did you have for the PPL R UL R split?
I’m running PPL UL at the moment and my erector/hinges are in Legs and Lower. I get a rest day after I’ve hinged (45° Hyper) and the hinge again in lower (DB RDL).

Where would the rest days sit if it’s 4 x p/w? Would it be T/L/rest/T/L/rest x 2 and repeat?

I like Oscar’s suggestion. It gives you frequency in what you’re bringing up. Another plus to this is you have 1 leg day p/w so less frequency means you can add volume and have fun with it.

Push being 2 sleeps away from each other would mean you’re asking for FBEOD recovery demand whilst applying U/L volume. I’d space your push work apart if possible or just do 1 set of each movement on your Upper. First few sessions may go well, but I think you’ll start runners by into a wall at some point.

Any reason you opted to do Legs before Push? Do you normally do this and how did it go if so?

Thanks – makes sense. Legs before Push was to give one day between Legs and a Lower-back Loading Pull session since I’ve had a previous low back injury. This was my way of mitigating some risk within the split design itself. I’ve done the sequence of LPP in the past and it didn’t hinder progression on Push.
If it didn’t hinder you then it wouldn’t be an issue here, but wasn’t sure if legs was a priority over other body parts or vica versa.

287 on wake , cycle kicked back up ! Last small push before diet time , will likely see me get to 296/297 over the next couple months then I’m very happy. Upper today. General Fatigue is very high now from workload but it is what it is .

Exciting things about to unfold , we get into the unit for MFG very soon, so that will be fitted out with an MFG show room gym , and then we have the room there for racking to store and fulfil kit.

I’m about to move out of the warehouse as it needs racking as we are entirely overflowing in the main warehouse , I am moving into my own private gym space , it’s very nice , I will decor that nice as we bought the warehouse so we are our landlords so can do whatever we want in there .

The huge warehouse that’s just come on the market across the road from the gym , we have just put an offer in to buy as well , it’s a perfect size for our own manufacturing. That will allow us to cut out costs a touch more for wholesale , and with the tbjp eu and eu wholesale site now active that’s a big deal.

2026 is defo the busiest year of my life so far with the most moving parts , the launching of new things , and the expansion of things . And competing again too 🙂

Excited for this bud. Big wins over the hill. 🙌🏼

Confused about the adductors/extensions comment. Is this just a language barrier issue or are you saying you’ve swapped adductor for leg extensions as a substitute? I’m thinking you mean leg press?

A lot of pressing there for FBEOD. Session A has dips AND tricep ISO with two other presses. I mean, if you can recover from that, crack on. Same with Session B and C.

I’d spread your presses and dips over the 3 sessions personally. High smith on A with a Dip, low incline DB on B with a close grip and machine press on C with a JM Press.

Everything else looks fab, I just don’t understand the adductor/extensions comment thing I mentioned above.

    Thanks for your reply.
I meant that there is no direct adductor work because the machines are too light, that’s why I do leg extension 3 times. (in other gym I was doing leg extension on A, adductor on B, leg extension on C)
So when you say high smit with dips on A, do you mean no chest focused exercise and no triceps isolation? Because I do my dips focusing on triceps and obviously high incline focusing on shoulders.
Ah ok. You’ll get plenty of adductors on your hacks, presses also.

You’ll incorporate chest on your dips, but maybe even stick a fly in there, although it was just an example.

    Everything else looks good.

You need to do what benefits you most. If doing more warm ups helps you perform your work sets better and as a result you perform effective reps to grow, it’s all good.
