Higher reps and supersets. Was a bit shit, but still made the best of a bad situation. I did get a good pump doing my isolation stuff and no pain with that so that’s positive.
Hoping this pain eases off and can push the weight a bit more on next push day.

What you said re tempo etc would make sense as well, and like Haider said – super sets etc will fatigue the muscles quicker so your more likely to reach some form of failure

Just training hard and making everything done with intent and of course till failure.
Had some food changes this week; minor cal drop so we’ll see if weight is down at all tomorrow

My brother has the exact same thing – and this isn’t me scare mongering – just saying he had exact same symptoms, was on the hack mainly aswell – he had a few checks and scans and was found to have a heart murmur so now has to be careful when going balls deep on legs.

I find if I let myself lapse it’s easy to get demotivated. Daily planning; lists, and routines are all helping massively to staying productive!
What do you guys do that helps you stay productive and working/training at a high level?

I’ve literally just don’t the same myself. Put up with pain for ages then eventually got a scan. Turns out I have torn my subscap tendon. Now I can rehab it. Deffo get a scan and treatment ASAP.

If we just didn’t turn up on days we didn’t feel like it, we’d get fucking no where – that goes for life as well as training etc
So I sorted my shit out and had a sick session. Those are the sessions that count. That make a difference. Those are the days others would have a day off and quit. Make every day count and count your blessings we even have the opportunity to train, Cus In the bigger picture it is definitely a luxury ????

I wouldn’t be too set on being free in 4 weeks haha but using this time for a cut is a good idea in my eyes.
Good time to focus on a diet and getting lean for sure.

Takes a while to warm up my shoulder and it’s very ‘niggly’ in certain ranges so I’m being careful with loading. Especially without a spot. Not doing a I thing under 10 reps – still going to failure (well to the point where I could finish the rep, but not do another)
Actually felt good, happy with the session, no records but ticking boxes and being consistent with everything. 3 weeks into diet now and still minimal to no changes in the plan because we keep improving. Good place to be. I’m happy. 15 weeks out. Here’s a couple from check in.

I would usually say a calorie drop initially if you managed to work food high in off season – but looking at your calories there I would say increase output. You can add steps or add some light cardio on a TD – maybe an upper day. Either way keep changes minimal and look for progress, if it’s slow, make further changes just don’t overdo it too quick and risk losing muscle when it could be avoided.

I was DEAD at 30 but had 40 in my mind before hand and didn’t wanna fail so I ground them out. Mini things like that where I don’t wanna lose to myself. No one else wound care, but I do.
Then this morning I ran 5k for charity. That too was horrendous ???? managed 32 mins – didn’t think that was too bad for someone nearly 120kg lol

Kuba Jamie and james run the UK pro muscle tour which is really valuable from an academic and a practically applicable perspective so deffo check the next one out.
I’ll also be running an event later on in the year that will include educational content and workout workshops too.
Of course nothing will be on until we’re allowed to work.
