Honestly mate I’m the same. I get zero recruitment with. I was very strong with the movement but never managed to get up from a set and actually feel my pecs full of blood. Never. Now I do only movement that I FEEL and get strong at doing them.

The consultant said I will have back pain for the rest of my life but I am at no more rush of further injury than anyone else. I’ll probably still avoid RDLs and anything excessively lower back loading for now at least and look to rebuild myself back up.
All in all I’m buzzing and now even more fuel to the fire to get up and smash this year and compete for my pro card

Seek professional help as there’s clearly an issue. I put up with knee pain for over a year, in the end I got an MRI, turned out I have a torn quadriceps tendon. Just pay the money and get it checked out and diagnosed asap

They’re not in my programme but from time to time I like to do one. I do the same sessions and progress it like any other. Arms are a relatively weak area for me so I’m happy to do an arms focussed session now and then. For me just doing them at the end of push and pull isn’t really enough to bring them up. Do what’s good for you!
This is something I like to do too. Sometimes I find it a nice little break to the plan and adds in a little excitement ha.

(Defo getting old now lol) I really appreciate the scenery and fresh air, and it’s a good way to enjoy getting your steps up. Obv I go a lot with my mrs too so it’s nice parter time too 🙂

Yeah deffo bud. Especially if they’re a weak part for you. Try and make sure all angles of pushing and pulling (vertical/horizontal etc) are covered regarding the upper body too.

Sometimes I think it’s important to listen to your body.
Tomorrow I’ll be back in – had to adjust my food halfway through the day to rest day food.

There’s no right or wrong but I would say no longer that MAX 5 seconds really otherwise you are getting into rest pause territory.
