    Good session today. Night little drop In weight following the refeed on Monday. We’re going to just run this up to the show now and should naturally drop down under the cap again. So I’m nice and fresh for the show and can eat/drink a little on the day and not have to starve myself to make weight. Feels like a much better place than I was in last year in comparison 😅😅

    Hey Joe! Good luck at your show this year. Your look is awesome and I’m really excited to see you crush classic. It’s been fun to follow along.

    I also enjoyed your videos on the SMP. One question I always had about it – when you get old and your hair is gray, won’t it look really weird having the black tattoo underneath? Something I’ve been debating for myself.

    The SMP will be faded and gone by the. The tattoo doesn’t go all the way through the dermis of the skin like a traditional tattoo 🙏

    Very good day today. Had Ryan Brambleby from the physique collective come down and build out my posing routine with me today. And we also hit a push session. All filmed for YouTube. Ontop of that I was also running a mock peak for the show.

    We weighed In at 5pm yday to make sure I could make the cap at the required time then did 4 big clean meals and 4L more water (was only 1 meal and 1.5L before 5pm), then 2 more meals this am and then did a pump and post at around 12.30 to roughly emulate stage time.

    The look was good, fuller and clean. But we can see my body reacts better to having some ‘dirty food’ in there – it seems to give me a more aggressive/knarly look and looks fuller and actually drier/tighter. So we’ll look to do a combination of clean and then probs five guys for pre show. Everytime we’ve done that this prep the look has been fantastic the next day.

    Pumpage is our pump product – this can help with pumps in the gym provided you’re eating adequately and are sufficiently hydrated as well as getting enough sodium through your diet. Without any of that it may not do a lot. As the word states. They are supplements. To supplement a good diet and training set up.

    Nearly today to box off cardio as usual. Then took my gf Nancy to a CrossFit class where I watched which was quite fun and nice to do something different. One of her friends owns a coffee shop here in London so went there after and then onto a nice park walk. Had a super chilled afternoon watching the rugby too. Felt a quite tired today so was nice to get a little recharge. Not setting an alarm tomorrow either to let my body get up when it wants to and give it a good bit of rest. See what we weigh then I think we’ll run the mock peak tomorrow. Will keep you guys posted on the plans as they unfold.

    231.8lb today that’s finally under the cap at 2 weeks out. Very very happy with that! We’re going to run a mock peak in the next few days to practice what we’re going to do before the show so we can dial it in for when it matters. I’ll update you guys on the plan when it’s set 🙏

    Rest day today – always a bit long when prepping but gotta be done of course. In for push and check in tomorrow 🙏 so look forward to that and seeing how we’re looking. It’s the only time I really properly look and assess myself when I look at the camera. I’ve never done am morning check ins myself as my physique is just so so different in the am it’s like I don’t even lift 😂 but feeling good and still cracking on. Nothing too much to note today tbf 🙏

    Another banger at kings tonight. Seriously good pull session. Unreal pump (take that at 2.5 weeks out lol) skin wa looking seriously thin whilst doing biceps at the end too!

    Feeling extremely good right now and brain function is great, work going well. Really can’t complain this prep has been by far the smoothest and easiest one yet!

    Hey Bro, if I remember correctly you were doing a lot higher volume training recently, could have been last year. How did you find it compared to to the lower volume approach?

    I’ve never done crazy high volume just more than 2 sets of 6-12 or so. Been doing usually 2/3 sets of between 15-20 and usually a heavier set of 8-12 with an intensifier like a drop set or a rest pause. Been really good man! Seen much greater feedback compared to solely ‘low volume’ I prefer the combination of both
