    Couldn’t agree more here, I’ll for sure be looking at much lower doses when I get to 41. And potentially the odd cycle as you’ve suggested here. Again personal choice as the guys have said.

    Another epic session today at kings gym while up seeing Nancy in London.

    Feeling very strong still – performance is holding nicely even deep into a prep.

    Great sign for muscle retention. Just posted some pics on ig too if anyone wants to see (can’t post here for some reason)

    Back to the shed tomorrow for legs – will be using the prime kit again for my hamstring as it feels so good being able to adjust the resistance profiles to keep training my hamstring with some decent intensity.

    There’s no real set in stone answer here as everyone will react differently to changes. Make a change, give it a good few days, assess, then keep going or make further adjustments

    Went for a colonic today – usually have a couple leading up to a show. So good for your gut health and clearing out any old waste. Also make you feel so much tighter and lighter which is ideal on prep. Got two more booked in before the first show.

    Rest day today and now on the way to London as we’re off to see hanz Zimmer tonight! Cannot wait, it’s going to be epic 🙏

    Was at a wedding today so had to train super late. Not ideal but we still got in and got it done. Was actually quite a good session. I was naaaaaaht up for it as I was tired after a long day at one of my good friends weddings but once I got the tunes on and got into it I enjoyed the session tbf.

    Rest day tomorrow and heading up to London to see hanz zimmer live at a candle lit orchestral concert at Westminster Cathedral which is going to be amazing! I can’t wait!

    In dentist today as part of my tooth cracked off and has been causing me some pain so hopefully get that sorted. Been up since 4.30. Boshed cardio, sauna and steps and finished all check ins before 11am. Now to walk into town for dentist and sunbed then back home for more work and to get ready to train arms later in at 3pm 💪

    Body weight has been dropping nicely so we’ve decided to up my baseline food a bit to slow the drop. We were running a 3 day carb cycle but now only training and rest day diets in play.

    Back in for arms tomorrow so looking forward to that and some posing post workout too. Training with a client tomo who’s competing at the same show as me (in men’s physique) so will be good to get in and push each other 💪

    2 options

    1. Try one more time, but this time be very clear and almost call him out. You expected ‘X’ and are currently receiving ‘Y’ level of service, sometimes a few well worded home truths will hit home. He may be a busy coach and fallen into a lazy trap. That may wake him up and start coaching properly again.

    2. Tell him you’ve told him multiple times about a few things and he’s not listening and you feel the relationship has broken down, for that reason you want to pull away and get what’s left of the programme left back money wise (if it’s a good chuck, if it’s not much I’d wash my hands of it).

    Either way it’s a shitty situation. Sorry to hear that my man. Doesn’t represent the rest of the coaching community well.

    So as I said before I’m on 2 on 1 off now. Just finished push at kings yday and back to the shed today for pull. Trained with my bro on his bday today. Was a good session! Strength holding nicely on all sessions right now which at 5.5 weeks out I’m very happy with.

    The fullness yday after the push session following the refeed was insane. The look from post workout compared to the morning before was night and day.

    Good ‘data’ though as we know I’ll be right on the cap when I weigh in late the day before the show so we have a small window to fill and tbh ‘shot’ food will probs be the way to go to get me looking relatively nasty 🤣

    I’d choose one exercise to start with potentially one later in the session. And assess.

    Add as you see fit and can recover from. Once you can’t recover properly you know your threshold. Then adapt from there based on feel.

    Rest day today and I am smashed after a good few days of training. First very good leg session since my hamstring injury and has left me with some sore legs today! But feels good to be back! New low weight again today 238.2lb so we’re eating up today. Burgers and fries and some other bits will go in tonight to fuel me up for the next few days and hopefully see a nice drop again once that’s all been worked off. Goal being to dig each time a bit lower that previous low weight then feed up and keep repeating process so I don’t get too dug out and fatigued. We want this physique to be fresh and on point when it comes to game day. Not fucked like last time! And we’re very much on track to make that happen! 🙏
