Haha Nick he certainly does 🙂 , it is an exceptionally well thought out plan and a lot of fun. Defo has taught me some greater insight into volume and frequency. The video we filmed today I talk about alterations to volume based on feedback of lifts. They all go up end of month, we have 5 vids that’s will go up.

Heavy upper yday, went well. Accessory lifts are creeping up to big numbers.

    Pullover machine 80kg/side x 10
    Hammer pulldown 95kg/side x 8
Seated cable row High/wide elbow: no 12×9
    Parallel bb row 120kg x 9
    Machine shrug 100kg/side x 9
    Stretch
Low incline smith press 40kg/side x 12 ( v strict form, no tucked elbows, all tension on chest)
    Pec dec 150pounds x 12
    Low incline smith 40kg/side x 11
    Pec dec 150 x 11
    Stretch
    Barbell shoulder press 120kg x 6
    Side lateral machine 25kg/side x 11
    Bb upright row 80kg x 9
    Rear delt row 40kg x 15
    Trap bar shrug 200kg x 6
    Stretch
    Tri set : leg press 7 plates/side x 25 reps into seated hammy curl 42.5kg x 20 Into toe press 7plates/side x 26
    Rest 2-3 mins and repeat
    Stretch

Leg held out fine, 7 plates/side is obv pretty light but was happy

Rest today , lower body session Tmo. Will see how 8plates feels on leg press. Leg extsion n ham curl will be fine. Hopefully I’m back squatting next week, even if just v light and in the fashion Roman fritz squats ( YouTube this is haven’t seen, it’s impressive eccentric loading)

It reinforces you to accelerate the weight. If you aren’t naturally used to doing this then yes it’s ideal. My complete mass plan I wrote 18 months ago has acceleration work in it. It’s westside and dc inspired , which focuses on speed and progressive overload in sync 🙂 . In phases, we do a lot of reverse and positive band leg press, I am very fond of them for explosive power which crosses over into deadlifts and squats

Defo start on the basic lower tier, this will feel initially like volume is low, but it’s the accumulative effect of the sessions that grinds you down. As you train everything so frequently , your cns gets hammered, great fun though and defo have learnt a lot from it. Any tweaks I have made I have quickly undone as realised that the plan is too well thought through and takes into account anything I can think of altering, so it just throws recovery off track by making alterations

Those are Defo my preferred omegas, v good quality indeed

Jack, yes that’s the plan. Tbh what I am doing now is essentially prep so it’s all just one gradual run into the show. I am totally dialled in and focused like a prep everything is to the gram and no cheats, so sadly the dark Choc you got me will have to wait , thank you anyway that was v thoughtful. Atm what is working is my previous stubborn body fat issues are becoming more even, lower back is thinning out and waist is slowly pulling in. This is from not pushing up food and just training harder and harder ( more weight more reps) .

Heavy legs Yday I couldn’t do much from my injury, but it feels better today so fingers crossed I can do light legs Tmo at end of heavy upper work. Lots and lots of stretching will be coming up as soon as I feel it can be done; once that scar tissue lays down, you MUST stretch so much to keep blood flow to the max. Il be back on the higher amounts of deep tissue too, meh injuries are costly 🙁

Atm just chatting to Scott Stevenson, he is looking at a seminar middle of the year over here: I think most people know my views on Scott, so I would strongly advise attending. I will find out prices and dates. you will simply not find a smarter man in bodybuilding 🙂

5 days on 2 off , for phenibut. I used it everyday in last month of prep, that’s not ideal but I needed to sleep. As Corinne said, she literally didn’t sleep at all for the last month so she didn’t use it, when ever I woke in the night she was awake, the sad part of being truly peeled is that serotonin levels are so sparce you cannot sleep at all, even with heavy cheat meals pre bed

    Bulk supps for th phenibut

Use their penny sale to get vit c or nut butters . We don’t use them for anything else , zero trust for them after seeing their body fortress protein come back at the absolute lowest levels of protien content from any brand on the market, it was something horrible like 20’pwrcent of label claims :/

    Upper session today.

First two moves I’m swapping from muscle rounds to heavy straight sets. As I like to have the chance to both barbell row and deadlift as often as I can. My heavy upper sessions atm I deadlift ( a typical pull session would have both, but a full body session doesn’t allow you to do everything you want)

    Heavy Pulldowns
    Totally parallel barbell rows
    Heavy pull downs
    Parallel rows

    High pull muscle round
    Seated row muscle round

    Chest press muscle round
    Barbell press muscle round
    Pec dec muscle round

    Smith shoulder press muscle round
    Side raise muscle round
    Reverse pec dec muscle round

    N smith muscle round
    Planks

I’m happy with look atm, I’m lean and floating between 265-270 depending on day of the week ( rest days are still car less)

One week left until I crank things up out of cruise dose, my aim is to gain no weight , but allow my workrate in sessions to get much higher to allow me to recomp well. 12 week goal ahead is to end a v lean 265. Then I will start a 24 week prep 🙂

Marcus, absolutely buddy, this year Luckily I have just had fibres POP. This is no biggie to me, but they keep me on my toes to ensure I keep my training smart, we videod the session Yday and you couldn’t even tell I did it, until I say to Corinne ” just tore my hammy a bit” , I find them frustrating more then anything. Anywhoo it’s extrenely tight today and sore to touch, I will ice all day again, double up my curcumin and omega 3 and by Tonight hope I can stretch it out. Il still be training legs sat, this will be ok by them am sure to do some kind of work, just not maximal loading.

    Hey dean,

I think any split can have you grow, growing is down to you as an individual to take body to the next level every session. That’s all growing is, challenging the muscle to produce a growth response. obv smarter programming will see you be able to train at higher frequency. I do Scott’s session day on day off for heavy work, then muscle rounds I train consecutive days. I could prob train the heavy days back to back too if I wanted to, but atm I’m enjoying a day where my body isn’t totally hammered.

Yep train when sore that’s no problem. I actually had a chat with scott last night in regards to how quickly connective tissue adapts in relation to muscle growth, and he said that it won’t synthesise as fast, so if your CONSTANTLY sore, you need to Becareful as injuries are pending. Look at your recovery, are you using gd peri wo nutrition strategies? Are u stretching? That is a BIG component of the plan

It is indeed a gd addition, I would have it whenever you have carbs, if your goal is improved insulin sensitivity , everttime you demand insulin from the body, use the products that help ensure cells are more sensitive
