If you can pull from the floor and recover for legs then do it . I would likely see more people stiff leg in a leg session, doing them with perfect eccentric control, you will get tons of back thickness cross over here but properly target your hams.
If you do want to dealift, for hypertrophy purposes just ensure you control the eccentric

Pushdowns imo totally depends if it allows for loading without compromising elbow health. I can’t do them anymore , I would like to, but I simply can’t . So I have to train them lighter and more accurately , so I use the cross body cuff pushdown . Assisted dip is my fav tricep exercise as it’s not a loaded move like a close grip bench press , and it mimics more of a pushdown , but the alignment for me means no elbow pain – so the assisted dip is like my heavy pushdown

I’m probably going to cruise for another 3 weeks , maybe 4. Will total 7-8 weeks, basically once my glute is ok to lift properly . No point kicking things up again until then.

I can’t tell how bad yet , I managed to do the session, but I did that last time too and then still couldn’t train my legs properly for 2 months. Will start bpc 157 immediately and hope for the best. I couldn’t band my stiff legs as the hip hinge motion was too painful , I could stay on the Ham in the bottom 2/3rds or the range , so just before hips start to come in I was back on the hams again. This didn’t really hurt , it felt like a small rom, but there was tons of constant tension on the Ham

Control the bar down to the pins , skim the pins and then pull from there , or basically deadlift in that fashion/ depth but without the pins. So a Dorian style deadlift , that is a v efficient hypertrophy tool . Dr Mike is a v smart chap but I absolutely disagree with his view there

Just took my failure points up a touch with a double drop at the end of the second sets, these sit a little better for me than a 3 point rest pause for some reason on pull moves . So same failure points, just an adjustment in approach

If you watch one of the videos I posted a while back that was a shoulder focused push session, I show my preference of order , crucifix laterals, an overhead press where you really focus on getting the delt short , cable lying cuff laterals and then wide upright rows

If those are someone’s carbohydrate needs they don’t need adjusting , 5iu is a gd start point . If the carbs have been adjusted just for the sake of insulin then that is incorrect , my insulin videos cover this extensively
