If ur in the dog end and do really need a boost , I think ephedrine is always pretty effective . But I wouldn’t want to be using that pre wo for too long personally , maybe the last couple weeks max , just to bump up some fat loss too. Just the come down is pretty dismal which I try to avoid which is why I haven’t had any pre wo in a long time
Year round mental trigger I like for sure . Or making your own from those kind of ingredients. Alpha gpc, tyrosine , caffeine and a gd nutropic like nupept or any of the racitems

So I was back up a touch from the rest day to 257.2. Will drop into tmo no doubt after that session today. I expect to be 256 ish tmo then 255 at the weekend , that would be 3.8 pounds off again this week.
Tired session, I was strong on most of what I needed still but my main pulls and Rdl were just tired. This I think is more from just over reaching , 8 weeks of real hard training since being back from Melbourne , I trained pretty hard out there too, so it’s just been a push for a
While now. And because I am such a strong deadlifter those exercises will take a hit. So I don’t feel like it’s a programming issue , I did back off a touch just for Today on the high rep work at the end I just did straight sets instead of drops . Instinctively for these isn’t a bad idea at all, but do generally keep a log of what your capable of doing on the MR sets. As with Dr Scott’s Ft style , I found logging my MR sets certainly saw good progression . But one aspect you must be sure of, is standardising your reps . Chasing a log book on an MR set often will see changes in tempo, rest periods and form. Be super strict

I will defo be 257 tmo and I expect to end the week at 255/254 , defo a gd spot as I was 259 5 weeks out from nabba worlds ( I have been reading back that log on dr Scott’s site between me and him ( no one else can read it I’m afraid ) and it’s a great read, that prep was brilliant tbh as I read it back ) , so I’m on a gd pace to get all the way down to 240 like I said my goal was 🙂
