So my thought process with the split :
What’s the number of days I can train in a row before I need a rest .
What’s the number of sets I can do in a sesssion and recover for the next time I hit than body part
Am I selecting exercises that target my weaknesses as a priority

I’m a huge Ryan Terry fan, works so hard and a lovely guy.
So remember these guys are coaches , they often will recount their way of training . We also must remember they are at the Olympia , so that shows you they have some incredible genetics when combined with their hard work. SO as mentioned above they will grow on any split.
At some point as I talk about a split routine is needed but I feel we will all take a big step forward by training upper / lower or full body splits

So I don’t believe in a best training programme , as it’s so auto regulated ( you adjust based on your needs / reactions, I.e volume /
Frequency )But I do think a lot of people will benefit from an upper lower split and just focusing on getting very strong

I like to always do a fly variation. It’s now the exercise I focus less about loading and more about just trying to pump the hell out of my chest

The fly takes out any chance of any other muscles contributing . Everything you have said is accurate but yet we still see people with huge delts and arms and small chests, who are incredibly strong. The fly proves to be an advantageous addition when we know this scenario can occur

Darius I feel different exercises lend themselves well to the type of set. Also the drop sets are a gd way to gain more metabolic stress . The change between rest pause and drop sets is simply variation – I think they have a v similar outcome on exercises like adductor and abductor where my

Ending on 3 is probably best , I start at two when come out of a cruise , then usually add a third at some point
