Thanks for sharing guys, I like reading other peoples 🙂 , specially when we all have goals that are in line with each other.

Control what I can control, is my usual thought process :

So Mine is to keep growing the site as best I can, get as much cool footage of James and Luke to really give a true insight to being a pro bodybuilder 🙂

Nail my own stage look ( if this comes with a card that’s a bonus)

Make fewer mistakes again with clients I prep – I have done that every year , so another year again of that and hoping to really become a v gd coach 🙂 … takes time to get really good I think , years of mistakes and success – learning from it all

Training for rugby imo is just about getting as strong and powerful as possible , whatever siZe comes from that is a plus but specifically seeking out hyper trophy and working on contracting muscles is largely irrelevant. My strength and conditioning coaches had us mostly
Doing full body splits or tbh we trained movements more than anything. So we focused on just the squat , deadlift , ohead press plus lat and stability work in one session, the next would be front squat , stiff leg, bench press plus whatever lat work . And the goal was just to get amazing at these, it’s why I was so strong when I was 18 , if you check the v early YouTube vids I was squatting 5 plates and pulling 6 plates before I was 20 , just from being obsessed with that training. So focus on the movements, the mechanics ,
Master them, get stupidly strong and your rugby will be benefitted 🙂

After weights I would consume protein , before cardio. I would actually then try to move the cardio to before their last meal if this is an option and keep cardio as far from weights as possible , or even not have them do cardio at all unless they need it

In the moment that it is active , it will impact yes but there is no negative feedback loop in the same manner as test or thyroid, in that you won’t shut down gh production. Further more, after the age of 21 -25 it really declines a lot , so unless your still in this age bracket I wouldn’t even be worried at all as exogenous gh will far surpass any potential endogenous benefits

Conor I like that your thinking critically to all the options . And the answer is, any one of those is potentially smart. I think what underpins it really , is how high your blast is and how low the cruise is. If the diff is big, like me, 3G or so, down to 500mg , it’s not wise to lower cals when hormones are lower . If ur blast is maybe 1000-1500 then u could defo tidy up on a cruise still I feel

Lovro, absolutely 🙂 . So I was raised with the belief that our mind is strongest tool. My Father genuinely managed to make me believe I could do anything I wanted if I believed it and my actions reflected that belief ; and tbh I was quite fortunate that it worked out that way; I was the youngest black belt the uk had in tae kwon do, I fought for team Gb in European and world champs. I was then signed by harlequins rugby club and got a full scholarship to a great school in London. I played rugby for England at 16,18 years old and was signed by wasps when i was 16 . I was never ever the best in terms of skill, or genetics, never the fastest , or fittest or strongest , I was never the smartest etc … but everything I did , I did with all my heart and I believed in everything I did. So this has always left me obsessed with mindset , and I still am . I hate it when I show weakness , and I am ruthless on myself when i am weak . Climbers show some of the most incredible mental strength , they live on the edge and walk that line of risk/reward and I admire that. It ties in with the same mindset of living life on your own terms and not confirming EVER to what your peers or people around you think you should. I still believe I can be a pro and leave my mark on bodybuilding , I will never be the best but for those that have trained with me know i give this shit everything I have because of that belief 🙂

Taking in fats to that extent post workout just isn’t ideal at all I feel . I would be focusing as much as poss on carbs you can digest and utilise
