If bodybuilding isn’t a priority and there’s other things you want to focus on that’s totally fine you can always come back to it fully after studies.

I would look at doing full body or upper lower/ full body so get around 3-4 sessions a week would allow you to maintain muscle fairly nicely potentially even still grow if you’re eating well

Hey guys! Hope you’re all good! So feeling it today Bw is down again by another lb – happy that it’s coming off fairly smoothly but also damn I can feel it haha!! Was dragging my feet on my steps so bad! But we get it done regardless! I then did client check ins and 2 posing calls. Trained pull which was a pretty decent session to say I felt tired. Early night for me x

I probably wouldn’t advise 6x a week I doubt you’d recover from 3 leg sessions a week either just 1 rest day that’s pretty intense. What’s your current split and goals?

Rest day today! Very much needed it. Started off my day with the usual cardio & posing followed by mobility & stretching. I then did the food shop and then spent the day food prepping for the next few days for myself and James, doing house jobs and then walking the dogs for my final steps. Had a fairly chilled evening which was lovely x

When I’m deep in off season this is a pretty normal feeling for me I have to eat ALOT in my off seasons so along with all the food you’re going to get some lethargic feeling to an extent

I agree with Jordan MPs max and performance fuel. If I ever plan this for a client I usually add carbs just a little extra to the last meal the night before

Evening all! So leg day today for me and another 1lb down I felt pretty tired today, slept well in the night but energy was just low but it’s to be expected. Had a good session maintained my usual numbers that I have had for the last few weeks of prep. This evening I’ve done some client work and then walked the dogs and watched some rugby x

Just to add.. as hilly says it could take a few weeks but in the grand scheme of things a few weeks is nothing really

We don’t have much context on how much you relaxed/ eaten on holiday but usually just a few days for any water to drop off. If you were consistently in a surplus for your holiday you might of also gained some fat which could drop off fairly quick if you’re back on your diet and routine quick and consistently.

Like Clare has said I wouldn’t overly obsess over a timescale I would just focus on nailing routine and being consistent and then it’ll drop off.

I would keep protein where it is no need to change protein. Are you doing any output? Cardio/steps?

Never heard of this before, but if it’s reoccurring I wouldn’t bother using it again especially if it’s going to cause anxiety or stress it’s not worth it

Hey, how old are you and how long have you been training?

Also if you’re getting a coach then I would be going with what they say cycle wise as ideally you’ll be picking a coach your trust and that are a good coach so they will advise you
