Definitely need to breath, I breath in on the eccentric and out on the concentric but tbh this happens naturally for me and I don’t over think it

Hey guys! Had a very good rest day. Usual morning routine then headed to check in with hilly! We’re both very happy for where I am just excited to keep pulling down and getting leaner. I then headed to my clients show where she took 1st athletic figure – it was a very good standard line up and to watch her walk away and win was amazing! Very proud of her and we’re working to bring an even better package to the universe.

This afternoon I’ve finished my steps and chilled c

Maybe you need to raise your concerns with your coach.

Also ask yourself was you actually flat? Or just need more muscle/ more condition it can be easy to mistake these

Evening all! Pretty chilled Saturday consisted of a few client check ins (those competing soon) followed by dog walk and cardio. I then trained legs, did a food shop, nipped to the pet shop then had a chilled evening.

Leg session was awesome felt pretty smashed after and had an hours nap haha! But my session was pretty good and everything progressed. Also I pulled my split squats right back because I was getting a lot of hip twisting so I’ve reset to straighten it up and I will build up from there x

I agree with hilly and potentially even push legs back even more if needed to give more time to drop inflammation.

Hey guys! Trained upper today / very good session progression across the board although my incline press felt heavy I managed to match but I did have weight increase on every exercise before that so probably just that.

Spent the rest of the day doing client work/ admin and content creation x

Personally I think control and connection needs to be your primary focus that’s what is going to help you progress doesn’t have to be a set amount of time pausing in X position or any certain tempo just decent control is fine

I would only use them if you need them, if you don’t get knee pain/ elbow pain there’s no need for them. Same for a belt unless you have back pain and that helps if you can do it without I would always opt for without.

I personally rarely use anything I always use wrist straps for back and now and again knee sleeves if I have any knee niggles but that’s not often

Not a brand I’ve used unfortunately so I can’t comment, have you tried contacting them?

Did these issues start when pushing food?

Adding more variety to your plan will help your gut, you need different pro, carb and fat sources.

I agree with Clare here, add in some fermented foods too.

One thing to consider too is your stress levels, do you feel more anxious at all?

Might be easier to answer this if I do post the plan, I’ve attached it here, hopefully it’s readable!

Yeah issues started near the end of the push up, increased calories a bit too aggressively and ended up around the 6k mark. Did a mini cut and reset to about 5250 but it didn’t help, couldn’t push the food any more so moved into a diet phase and took a good chunk out, the plan attached is what I’m moving to from the end of this week and is about 4k cals on a training day. Weight has been dropping really quickly but I’ve played about with weight loss before and found I can tolerate a fairly aggressive cut, especially near the start.

As far as variance in the meal plan it does really help me to keep it simple as I batch prep four days of meals ahead of time (working fairly long hours and dont always have facilities at work to sort out food). My veg does vary (no veg noted in the plan but I do have it with most meals).

And yes, stress is high currently, hopefully not for much longer but definitely could be a factor.

Hey I can’t see your plan can you type it out or try and post again

Definitely don’t let a crap week run forever. Take an evening to take it all in feel present then pick yourself back up and get back to it focus on what you have to do daily use bodybuilding as something to lean on.
