One day out for meeee!
No real changes today, a little less volume with taking egg whites out, protein slightly lower to normal but not by too much, no crazy changes to food! Crusing in nicely, woke up 56.2 today which was 0.5kg up on yesterday so I know we’re getting fuller which is good! Had my nails done this morning, going for a massage now! Then it’s the athlete meeting this evening!@KerrySexton_ifbbpro - IG.

Agree with Andy here, if you are able to.. It can be a really big help with apitite & getting you started for the day with a nice rush of endorphins!

Training day for me today at titen fitness in Alicante, feeling good, no drastic changes again today at 2 days out, current calories – 2334, possible changes to come throughout today based on check-ins, but we’re in a nice little spot! Weight was down today to 55.6kg, usually hit the stage around 55.9 which seems to be a look we like but let’s see what the body says (& Meg lol) .. usuall client work this morning, a nap, some time in my recovery boots, all the normal things 🙂

Rest day for me today. A super chilled one.. it’s so nice to be here & settled in Alicante, Japan was just a little (a lot) crazy 😂 had my recovery boots on all morning, had a nap, client work as per usual.. just had a Thai massage. I’m checking in nice & frequently with Meg.. no changes have really been made yet.. we’re holding a nice look here!

Jordan has put this very well here & I really agree! For example, for me a lot of my movements are the same.. because of my goals.. and I can agree it doesn’t feel like I’m able to progress them all that much.. when my training was more varied I also had different upper / lower days & where the movements were not so repetitive I felt more able to progress.

Agree with Clare here, I personally get mine done every 3 ish months but sometimes depending, I’ve had them done more frequent but again that’s my own circumstances, I think every 3/4 months is good, atleast 2x per year imo!

Just touched down in Spain! Jeez that was a long old travel! Today we will get a food shop, prepare food, but the gym! Tomorrow will be a rest day where j plan to do absolutely nothing! The good thing is, I slept on and off on the 11 hour flight for the most of it, diddnt look at th time again until 4 hours left! So hopefully as it’s 12pm I’m just back in th time zone! Fingers crossed!!!

Rest day for me today & a long travel day ahead witb 25.5hrs wowzaaaa but, everything’s prepared & we’re at the airport, so far so good, now just to check theee 5 bags in LOL & hope for no delays, I’m excited to get to Spain now.. we arrive Wednesday 12pm ish.. from there it’s time to rest up, we’re happy with today’s look, no drastic changes body weight & look is where it should be as it stands 😅 so.. let’s see what the travel brings! Going to try my best to sleep loadssss!!

Agree with the others here & definitely feel like alison has made some very valid points.. it really is person dependent, just make sure you really do align with your goal, and of course remembering health is key when it comes to longevity in this sport! When are you thinking of competing?! Let us know your plans!

Agree with the others here, we can get a little in our head, but if all of these mentioned above are ticked then I really don’t see why not as long as your also taking care of your sleep, recovery & nutrition!

Training day for me today, however a later session as I have been to the athlete meeting & had a lot to sort out this morning with packing off to another hotel!
Feeling pretty tired my self 🫣 BUT we have a lot of the day left and I’m ahead, my main focus is just ensuring Marc has all he needs and is settled and rested, my own rest can wait 😂🤝
