I agree with Clare here to, I have lower calories on a rest day simply because my output is lower & my fats are higher with carbs a little lower, this works well for me, but I do agree it’s personal preference, I have some clients in which they prefer more carbs & less fats on their rest day as they have demanding jobs & feel it gives them more energy.

Another deload day!
Have found the last couple of days a little “different” & then noticed its day 13/14 of my cycle, so this will be why, that time of the month comes round very fast for me, with pmdd symptoms occurring, so I feel this deload has come at the right point, weight also has come up 0.4kg since my lowest which again makes sense to me! Anyway, have managed well so far, just my brain always feels so distracted, so it all takes a little more – nothing I’m not used to so we keep doing the do!@KerrySexton_ifbbpro - IG.

Where are your muscle imbalances? Do you have injuries? How long have you been training? How bad are the imbalances. Please upload photos so we can help you here
It is kinda the whole right side of my body but the most annoying for me is my right bicep and the right side of my back. I’m having trouble with lower back pain but I’ve been trying some excersises and they help a little bit. I’ve been training for probably 3 years now but the imbalance on back started recently, unfortunately I have no photo from now but I will upload as soon as I will take some.[/quote]
Have you ever had a posture analysis, you might need some kind of mobility.. however to note, none of us are exactly symmetrical.. if it’s a problem that is getting worse, I’d likely see a physio!@KerrySexton_ifbbpro - IG.

Rest day for me today & day one of the deload!
Big work block this morning, now having a pedicure, Marc has something arranged that I need to be ready for at 4pm today, so excited for that whatever it may be!
Weight went up just 0.2 again today, had a bit of a rubbish sleep however!!

Today was a training day.. however I now have a deload, my sets were pretty poor today as much as I gave my all, was in a great mindset, enjoyed the session, my lifts regressed quite a lot so I messaged meg, I slept not to great last night & am due a deload now at week 7, so we’ve taken the opportunity to run a deload.. I have also dropped 0,8kg in 2 days which is epic, but also could be a contributing factor, new low today of 57.2, let’s see if it’s stays or drops during this rest which is very welcomed!
Just had a bath, now time to switch off get food ready & chill for a 8:45pm bed time!

A busy rest day for me today, and a new prep low of 57.5kg – 0.5kg down over night! Seems the changes we made worked very well! Let’s hope this continues!! Hunger all still feels fine, I still feel offseason so I defo can’t complain 🤣

Cronometer is super accurate, as Meg said, really great for tracking fibre & other values, definitely prefer over MyFitnessPal!

You’ll notice succhhh a difference once you implement the correct breathing techniques. Give what andy has said a try.. it can take some time to get used to it, but once you do you’ll unlock some better sets for sure!
