Chilled day today down south before my grandmas birthday this evening, we walked along the beach, into town, had a coffee, got our feet done, just had a nap so we have some energy for the evening 😂.. we are going to an Italian with my family, it’s been so chilled here, we leave Sunday but ahh I just love it here 😂

Agree with all the others above, something I tell my clients who struggle to “take it there” with their sets is.. when your body starts to tell you to stop because it “hurts”.. that’s when you know there is more to take mentally.. so don’t let the pain stop you, when the pains there, take some more – the body will keep going! 👊

Rest day today, heading back down south to see my family so have the whole weekend off, this will be our last “holiday” before Marc starts prep,. We actually haven’t been away properly this year out of the country anyway, or taken time off of the gym when we’ve had a little get away down south or when we went to a log cabin, so I’m looking forward to being fully present and available for my family all weekend! We will be sticking to our usual meals, just an Offplan for my grandmas birthday meal tomorrow night!

    Hey Miso

Food plan looks fine, nice mix of carbs, fats and protein. I am assuming you will be tracking your calories to get exact amounts of calories / macros for each meal.

You said soon you will need to cut carbs, why is this if you are only just starting the cut phase?

Your initial food plan should see your bodyweight come down. From there the next adjustment could be made from your expenditure – daily steps or cardio.

Definitely agree with the others above here – always go by progression, you’ll also know if you really feel you can’t during that session..

If you are noticing regressions 10 days into your diet, you MAY have gone in to hard to soon, what changes were made from before you started to diet?

What was your other session and what was today’s session? Are they different body parts?

Back off of my deload today, went in with full volume but nothing to failure, had a decent session this, a mix of upper and lower.

I felt little to no pump before my deload, however today it was back! So this deload was clearly needed!

    The session ⬇️

    Glute med kick back

    2×12-15

    Reverse hyper

    2×10-12

Glute max kick back (kneeling) (new)

    2×12-20

    Abductor

    2×12-15

Single arm cable lat pull down

    2×12-15

    Cable row lat bias

    2×10-12

    Rear delt cable fly

    1x 12-15

    Machine lateral raise

    2×12-20

I weigh out 2g of lo-salt, and 10g of pink salt & spread it across 2g per meal through out the day, I am 5ft 2 and weigh 59kg, I drink around 6L of water..

I do not track from food sources however, maybe this is something you need to trail for a number of weeks at different amount of grams to see if you notice a difference with brain fog.. unless this is coming from something else.

    Hey Joe

Do you mean training in the rep ranges 8-12? How long have you been training this way for and has your training split or exercise selection changed in this time?
