Never had issues with combining both I do this every night, I take all my evening supps together 1 hour pre bed! I think it’ll be person dependent like the others have written some other point of views here! 🙂

With regards to massage close around show, I still have it, because of the points below & the one I actually feel the most benefit mentally & is important to me.. is point 4..

    1. Light to moderate soft tissue work to reduce muscle tone & stiffness.

    2. Joint mobilization to maintain range of motion & movement quality.

    3. Lymphatic work to encourage fluid movement.

    4. Relaxation focused massage to lower stress & sympathetic nervous system activity.

    5. Gentle fascial work that improves tissue quality without creating soreness.

I compete very often, this season every 2 weeks, so dropping massage isn’t a benefit to me.. you’ll know how you feel personally however but that’s my views, just a different pressure, for me it’s still the same technique

Pre bed I’d say, it’ll become part of your routine & like the others said no need to take it anywhere then, also then agree as Meg said above here 🙂

Training day for me today, had to navigate a little as I’ve hurt my foot a little but we got it done, there is always a way! My bodyweight is down to 55.4kg today still after a little more food so the same again today! I could possibly be 22 days out right now 🙂 but we’re just rolling with it and can see.. it will be Portugal, no decisions need to be made we’re still doing what we need to do regardless of any decision!

Absolutely agree with the others here on being aggressive & getting in & out, I’d go with the steps first like Marc has said, you may see a shift without the addition of cardio yet

Normal rest day for me today!
2x posing clients, normal work block with some new starters,
Minimal steps, bodyweight is 55.6kg, so about 1kg up from stage but we’ve been in recovery mode eating more, and digestion and recovery WAS poor but we’re coming out the other side, however the weight inc doesn’t surprise me with regards to fatigue also pmdd, so it’s quite normal to see that trend! Happy with the look, still undecided of our next move atm!

Training day for me today, we did one set only, we still haven’t decided a show moving forward, so we’re just managing rest right now which is needed after a huge run of shows!

We also added extra food today! Have a full rest day tomorrow! The session today was good however.. I had such a great pump & enjoyed it!

Other than that it’s been a normal working day, with a nap of course! 🙂

Full rest day for me today, heavy day with client work but it’s 16:35 I’ve done 2784 steps, we needed a huge rest day, I had a nap, everything is set for an early bed time this evening!

I ran into some fatigue which we had more food in the end last night to help, which helped! I think the last 6-8 weeks (the rest of prep lol) caught up with me!

We haven’t decided what’s next – we shall see!!

I feel so much better this evening!!!

Be patient, listen to your body and only do movements that cause no pain or aggravate. You don’t ‘have’ to do any exercise, so don’t feel you need to include these in your programme right now. Machine alternatives may be the answer until you build some more strength and stability around the injured area.

Make sure your volume and recovery days work for you too and react if you need more rest or need to adjust your programming.

I really like what the others have said but this too.. the best thing I did was do what I can do, so don’t think to deeply on what the internet says you MUST do..

Training day for me today! A little tired 😉 BUT to be fair a restful day, the way I set my week up, I left a big gap today for not much brain work.. all new client set ups etc start tomorrow, so that’s positive! I needed today to just “be” I napped for a hour, still have a client consult & had some check ins as per this am, but the whole day in its self has been a little less taxing!

Looking forward to a rest day tomorrow! The session I had today however was good!! 🙂
