Generally it won’t make your waist smaller but it will have you more mindful of keeping your midsection tight which will eventually make your waist smaller.

Vacuums and ab training / nasal breathing will have better effects if that’s your goal

I suggest making very minor changes week by week and monitor your bodyweight closely. So treat this process exactly the same as you did when coming down. Small changes over time always yield the best results just case of being patient!

Unfortunately once you get to a certain BF level you more likely will accumulate more fat rather than muscle.

Get as lean as possible and rebuild from there 🙂
