Hi Cameron, I personally don’t count my steps as cardio and I do a lot of steps. So I would start by adding maybe 20 mins of cardio in training days only and see how you go. You may also be able to keep your calories a bit higher!

Hey buddy, I am and have always been a huge advocate of using animal proteins for my intake. So I wouldn’t suggest using EAAs all day for your protein. Over the years I have always eaten closer to 1.5-2g of protein per lb of Bodyweight however as I’ve got older my requirements are much less so I eat around 1g/1lb. Although I do recommend using EAAs during training/ cardio and Whey protein is very handy especially post workout I still do recommend eating whole foods.

Hey guys! I had a great tennis session on Wednesday during the day then I went back in the evenitn for another lengthy session. Missed the gym Tuesday and Wednesday however I did manage to get my fasted cardio in. Yesterday I got up early done my cardio, ate and went to work. Then hit a great back session down at kings which felt great. I played a tennis match later that day and I was playing really well. I won comfortable in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. What I was most happy with is my serving. I was serving very well in first and second serve. I had a busy evening after so I ended up getting a McDonald’s at like 10.30pm as I didn’t eat much in the day. Up early today again for my walk and work.

Hello Louis, hope you are well! I really enjoy reading your blog to see a more realistic day-to-day life of somebody balancing work, hobbies and bodybuilding!
I feel I’m in a similar situation in life where work and hobbies are always busy and a priority and where I’m never going to be ok stage (I know you may again one day!)
I’m wondering what your training principles are in general? I’ve seen that you like to split muscle groups up rather than training the standard PPL, its something I may also try myself!
Hi Jordan! I definitely live a lot more of a balanced lifestyle now! What sort of hobbies do you have? My training weights wise pretty depends on how often I can make it to the gym. I try and train my chest and my back more importantly. Then my shoulders and arms if I can get in more days in the week as they’re not as much of a priority. I don’t really train legs often maybe once every few months as they really give me a lot of pain due to my injury!
How many days can you make it to the gym?

Hey buddy! I think it’s good to take things slow and controlled but I think you do need to move some weight also so as long as your also able to move a fair amount of weight then it’s fine.

MemberFebruary 20, 2023 at 8:20 am in reply to: Best time to do cardio on a full body splitHey buddy, it depends how long you want to do and many off days your taking and also when is convenient for you to do so! I suggest either fasted (you may want to avoid that as your already up super early), post workout or later in the evening separate from training. If your only having 1 or 2 days off per week it might be better to fully rest on those days and keep it on training days.

Hey buddy! It would deffo help if we could see some shots of this. However in most cases you may need some physio work on your lats and shoulders, maybe something is too tight to allow you to spread. So definitely look into that also.

Hey! Personally I prefer using a wedge. We have a Mirafit metal wedge plate in our gym which is probably cheaper than a pair of shoes and it’s incredible!
