  • Hey buddy! I wouldn’t suggest lifting off the floor if your suffering from lower back problems! I have herniated L4 & L5 and degenerated S1 also and haven’t lifted off the floor for 3 years. I very rarely do any hip hinge to be honest. For me the safest would be dumbell RDLs as I can keep the weight very close to my centre of gravity. Hex bar Is also a good option so from time to time I will do these! If your hell belt on using a bar personally I would pull it out of a rack (not off the floor) and only go as low as your shins with a pause then pull back up! Please take care, start light and move slowly!

Good morning guys! Played around 2 hours of tennis yesterday which was good! Played against a guy I’ve never beat! He always beats me! I feel like I have stepped my game up the past month so I can start beating better guys! I lost the 1st set 3-6 but then I came back and won 6-3 in the second and 7-5 in the 3rd! It was a battle we played for around 2.5 hours I was pretty exhausted after! I went home and rested for a while as work was dead! I had planned to go to the gym in the afternoon/ evening but I was shattered! I perked up around 5pm and got called to the club for a club session! I played 3 sets with 3 different partners and won all 3! So very productive day tennis wise! Got home ate my final meal then went to sleep! Up early today, I’ve got some parcels to pack and send off for Louis arjuna so I’m using that as mt fasted cardio walking to post office etc is around 45 mins! Then I’ve got a meeting with James and Arj to discuss some new items and marketing etc! I’m probably going to skip tennis tonight and hit some weights today! Fasted weight was 82.5kgs (83.1 yesterday).

Hey buddy! Have you thought about giving your arms they’re own separate workout day?

Today was much of the same! I didn’t sleep great so I slept in! Was meant to be playing tennis 1-5pm but it was pissing down then I ended up working! Out for a few drinks tonight! Happy new year everyone!!

Good morning guys! Had a productive day yesterday! Worked in the morning then hit a 3 hour tennis session which was great! After having a few weeks off technique is lacking a little so need to get back on the court a bit more to sharpen up! It’s hard when the weather is not great. Like this morning I got up early to eat and go to work so that I could play tennis at 10am but it’s pissing down with rain and windy as fuck. Maybe I need to join an indoor club 🤣. I will hit the gym later for a workout!

    Hi Louis,

Interesting reading your thoughts. I definitely think gear is addictive to some extent, maybe just not in the usual way we think of addiction.

Were you prescribed the TRT? Or ran it yourself?

Hey buddy! I totally agree! These feelings and thoughts I’m having are definitely proof of that in my case especially! So my TRT I run myself which was recommended by my doctor as it’s not easy to get trt here in the U.K. yet! I hear in the US it’s a lot easier to get access to that stuff! Also thank you for taking the time to read my post!

Hey buddy! Ofcourse everyone is different! I see people throwing heavy weights around with huge arms, I see people doing light weight super high reps with huge arms! For me personally I have tried it all and for my high volume arm workout once per week with sets between 8-15 reps, varying rep ranges per set dependant on feel on the day! Now as rich mentioned Exercise selection is key because there’s a lot of movements that I don’t feel properly in my bicep or Tricep so I simply don’t do them. I tend to do very similar workouts because I know now what works for my arms! So it may take some time to figure out what works best for you. I usually start my workouts with cables/ machines then when I’ve got some blood in my arms I move onto free weights. It I start on free weights I struggle to flush blood in there as the time under tension throughout the whole movement isn’t usually there. Also I usually like to go from Tricep to bicep to Tricep and switch back and forth. A lot of people will train all Tricep then all bicep! There’s a tonne of different ways to do it. Just keep trying and see what works for you. Hope this helps. 🤞🏻

Good morning guys! Literally walked in the gym door yesterday around 1pm and got called out to work! Got home around 7pm after 3 call-outs out of the area! Went to the gym around 8pm and had a decent little leg workout. My back has been very painful as of late so I don’t some back rehab and glute activation then hit a little leg session! Got back had a shake then ate some beef canneloni an hour or so later! Deciding wether to train weights today or do some sort of cardio activity!

Hey buddy! I would start with 20 mins 5 x weekly to begin! Then as the guys mention increase in 5 min increments. I wouldn’t go over 45 mins daily and I wouldn’t go over 6 days!
