Good morning! Just out doing my fasted walk! I’m back on UK soil! Morning weight was 88.0kgs so lost a little while away but not too much. Had another long day yesterday driving a lot and finally found the bruarfoss waterfall which was around a 2.5 hour hike up to in the mud and then around 90 mins back down! I am excited to get back into training and routine with diet now. No more travel plans so once Christmas is out the way we can reallt start the offseason properly!

Hi Buddy, personally I do drop calories on rest days. I usually eat the same breakfast if not a higher calorie breakfast then the rest of the meals in the day I do protein and carbs but not very high carbs maybe only 30-40g carbs per meal. Then I drop off carbs before bed.

Hi Chris, if I trained at 6am I would definitely eat Atleast 1 meal beforehand! Do you have a set pre workout meal? I would try and get up and have that meal and allow some time for it to digest before heading to the gym!

Hi Josh, it depends how your body is responding. Some people gain weight and tissue quite easily so the need to eat huge amounts of food isn’t needed however some people it will take a lot of force feeding to put on weight. How does your body respond to high food?

Hi Dean, cutting down on cardio could be a good idea or up your food a little to slow down the dramatic weight loss. Either will do the job!

Hey guys and girls. Had another busy day today here in Iceland! Headed out early to get to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, then headed off to the Skogafoss waterfall, then headed over to the cool solheimajokull glacier and then down to the black sand beaches and the village of vik! Then headed back to Reykjavík for some food and a scoot about! Heading home today so up early to head off and see another waterfall before I head back to the uk. Hope you all are training hard!

Hey! So headed out to the pingvellir national park here in Iceland and went on a hike to the waterfall. Then headed to the geysirs where some like volcanic thing in the floor explodes 100 degrees water out of! Pretty cool! Then went to the huge Gulfoss waterfall place that’s similar to niagra falls then finally to a huge crater in the ground which was very cool! Went to try and see the northern lights with no lucky I’m afraid it’s very rainy and overcast here. Got another busy day today so I will keep you posted!

Gooood morning! Weight was 88.3kgs this morning so it has solidified a little! Ended up just training arms yesterday as I was very beat up and didn’t think I had recovered enough to hit a big push session! Regardless I had a great arm workout and worked late into most of the evening before spending some time with family! I’m going to Iceland today which is going to be a busy trip. I will keep you guys posted on training and diet and let you know what is available while I’m away!

Hi Buddy, I personally do 25-30 mins of LISS cardio in the offseason. Not really for fat burning purposes or to stay lean. For me it’s more to aid my digestion and create demand and appetite in my body. If I miss cardio I do notice a big difference throughout the day.

I am doing 5 days X 40 Min liss inclined. However ATM a sedentary lifestyle. Help for digestion and stress management. I get easily constipated if I don’t. The mental side is everything. I do later in the day after 4 hrs from my weight session and mostly on upper body day. On legs day not inclined. Kind of NEAT!Is it fine… guessing? On prep ahah I was on 1hr inclined 7/7…more 10x30sec speed. Not complaining…I do what I must do to get the lean body. Just scared about adaptation…Maybe switching only to a not inclined 5x40min could be better in Off season? Thanks!

Hey Buddy, yes I mean I would always do a little less in the offseason than I would on prep but also on prep you can manipulate your calories a lot better so you shouldn’t have to chance activity too much depending on how your losing body fat!
Thanks Louis! Ah ah I was at 1000 calories! Seems low! (I didn’t suffer from Dieting, actually I prefer cutting that bulking!…I was even beat personal best in the gym…I m weird! The excitement of prep and mindset matter ) Maybe was the time frame matter in prep. 9 weeks only. Need more and a better diet manipulation? Or some else! I did not prep alone! O o Just wondering if the stress caused from too much training/cardio can cause damage in term to lean out…. I was very lean….but not lower body! Very difficult to lean out there. Bodyweight very low!
I m going to prep again, but I ll change coach (I would love to work with same coach long term, I think that it is more effective and smart) and this time I ll pick a show when ready! I have already some dates, however I m scared not to be able to see my hams… Or maybe need to take some magic staff! I can’t believe that I m the only one that has this issue! …
For now I switched to not inclined, and I m moving more. So increasing neat! Walk 1hr at least everrryday! On the treadmill or do some normal walk.
Eating bit less but not so much!
Off season is a joy BC I m increasing load as never before! But Feel soooo uncomfortable sometimes for not being lean! Maybe with more muscle the next prep should be relatively easy ( guess ). Unfortunately I can’t put muscle like magic! Ahah I dream them!
We ll see!
Once again thank you!
No worries mate we’re here any time! Good luck with the new prep when you decide to hit a show and keep us posted!!

Good morning, just out doing my cardio now it is absolutely freezing! Weight was 88.4kgs after leg day. Absolutely ruined legs yesterday. Really good workout. I’m planning to hit a push session today as I am away this weekend again for my birthday so won’t be training for 4 days! This has been a solid week. Can’t wait to get into a proper offseason come January.

Low volume 1 working set 6-9 then back off 9-12 on major movements, getting a lot of response from this, what volume do you do?

Hi Ramsay, I pretty much do the exact same thing. 1 Load 1 Back Off for most exercises. Some exercises I will do 1 rest pause set or 1 drop set/ Muscle round!
