Hi mate,
Thanks for lengthy reply to both my questions – mrs competed yesterday and work mental so please don’t think I was being rude not thanking you until now – genuinely appreciated.
Cycle wise – Ive never done an ‘out and out mass cycle’ its always been in a dieting phase except an oral cycle when I was too young and uneducated. Currently on tren a and test 5 days out (stops jabs now though) but was considering moving into a test and mast little rebound blast for 4/5 weeks before me and other half jet off to the Caribbean at start of December… seems like a good opportunity to pull drugs then, start PCT when I get back… see where I am at the new year!

Hey Reece,

No worries buddy! Yes that sounds like a good idea come off the harsh drugs like tren and any orals then when your away give your body a rest!

Sani, for me that’s a lot of fat to have before training. I would struggle to digest all of that before training which would stop blood flow to the muscle as it’s being used for digestion. My go to pre workout meal is skyr yoghurt and rice krispie treats/ Ricecakes. They digest super fast for me and I find I can have a much better workout with an empty stomach!

It depends on your goal and how serious it is. I don’t have meals off during prep but if my clients are just cutting or dieting for a holiday or something I will allow them meals off now and then..

Have to agree with James on this! Loads of side and rear Delt movements. Strict form. Wide chins/ pull downs have been known to aid over long periods of time.

Good morning guys and girls! Just out doing my fasted walk now still at 25/30 mins. Weight was 92kgs again it’s been stuck here for a few weeks so I have implemented another meal off per week so on rest days now I’m always having one meal off which is usually 2/3 per week it doesn’t have to be junk food usually some steak and chips or something! We have also adjusted our training split which you can see over on my training section. I have noticed a little difference using the insulin post workout where I am actually ready to eat my post post meal a lot sooner that I was before. Before using the insulin it would take around 3 hours or more for me to even feel hungry for it or my BG level to drop within range to eat. Now I’ve noticed around 2 hours I am starving for the meal and within range. So it’s definitely helping with digestion and absorption for me. Had a phenominal leg workout with James and Damien yesterday rhen was out working most of the night after. Got in around 9.30pm ate my post post a little late so I was definitely starting to feel the hypo symptoms! I have carried carbs on me just incase of any issues. You have to be smart when using a drug like this even if it is in a small dose. Watched a film then ate my last meal and went to bed! Is anyone down kings this weekend? Or UKBFF finals or PCA finals?

Hey buddy, diet looks good to me I usually drop carbs on rest days and increase fats. As long as your body is still responding stick with it then when you hit a plateau I would drop calories again..

Hey buddy, as Clare said there’s nothing wrong with fasting as long as your getting all of them
Meals in. If you feel like your struggling to gain weight you may need to increase your meal sizes or add a meal in earlier in the day.

Good morning! Rest day yesterday was needed I was shattered all day! Went to the gym and done a little high intensity cardio exercises to mix things up. Then popped to GymBeast to get some extra bits I had run out of. Don’t forget guys we do have a athlete meet and greet with product sampling at GymBeast Croydon on Saturday October 19th between 11am-2pm so if your local or planning to train at kings make sure you come down and check out the new flavours of prepare and have a chat with us! Pretty much all of the team will be there so it should be a good little event. I ended off the evening with a nice little ribeye steak and chips catching up with a friend. Then got called to work around 10.30pm. Out doing some cardio just now going to get a good few meals in today before training legs with the big boys!!

If you have a different diet for training days and rest days I would use the rest day diet all week! If you use the same diet everyday I would personally drop my carbs quite substantially and increase my fats in those meals. Usually helps me digest the food a lot better giving my stomach a rest too!

Hi Buddy, I luckily have never suffered from any achne on cruise or on cycle or off cycle. The only thing I can suggest really is to keep your body as clean as possible. I shower in the morning after cardio, after training and before bed.

Louis my man thats a lot of showering ????
It is hahaha but I have really good skin and I don’t use any creams or anything lol gotta attributive some of it to that hahaha

Slightly off topic.. so apologies.. but 2 questions all the same! hahaWhen youve had a mad one at work, feel tired AF etc… you have your session planned out, had your pre, still dont quite feel as up for training as youd like, you want to be, but your body is just saying no… any mental triggers etc you use to get yourself to that place? Obviously this is more relevant in prep… (anything except just reminding yourself that you want it! lol)How have you previously managed cycles going from pre comp, to post comp? changing esters, slowly lowering, changing compounds etc?

Reece, with regard to the second question, I use very similar cycles pre contest and offseason. I will use drugs like trenbolone and halotestin in the pre contest stage but not in the offseason. My offseason cycles are very simple. I prefer slow esters as I can inject less oil into my body. The main difference pre contest would be the use of AIs at the latter stage to push for dryness. How do you approach yours?

Louis I’m a little curious when you think it’s time to put in ai’s and oral aas in the pre contest cycle, often you have low estrogen just by how the cycle looks with high mast and lower test, I usually put in it first 3 weeks out but how do you do?
Hi Jim, in a contest prep cycle I would usually run a low AI throughout the whole cycle and then a week or two out I usually increase slightly as it tends to give me a bit more of a dryer look.
