Slightly off topic.. so apologies.. but 2 questions all the same! hahaWhen youve had a mad one at work, feel tired AF etc… you have your session planned out, had your pre, still dont quite feel as up for training as youd like, you want to be, but your body is just saying no… any mental triggers etc you use to get yourself to that place? Obviously this is more relevant in prep… (anything except just reminding yourself that you want it! lol)How have you previously managed cycles going from pre comp, to post comp? changing esters, slowly lowering, changing compounds etc?

Reece, with regard to the second question, I use very similar cycles pre contest and offseason. I will use drugs like trenbolone and halotestin in the pre contest stage but not in the offseason. My offseason cycles are very simple. I prefer slow esters as I can inject less oil into my body. The main difference pre contest would be the use of AIs at the latter stage to push for dryness. How do you approach yours?

Louis I’m a little curious when you think it’s time to put in ai’s and oral aas in the pre contest cycle, often you have low estrogen just by how the cycle looks with high mast and lower test, I usually put in it first 3 weeks out but how do you do?

Hi Jim, in a contest prep cycle I would usually run a low AI throughout the whole cycle and then a week or two out I usually increase slightly as it tends to give me a bit more of a dryer look.

Good evening, what a long day! Left early for work in the morning. Busy all day working away! Finally got in the gym around 6pm and had a phenominal session with fellow trained by jp athlete @timaspinall who is under a week out from the PCA british finals!! Then got called back to work again! Got in around 11pm! Going to eat and get my ass in bed! Hitting shoulders tomorrow at kings Croydon with James and Tim said he might pop down too! The giant in the black hoodie is busy so he’ll be joining us later on towards the end of the week!

Hey buddy, as Haider mentioned there isn’t actually any exercises for that. Eating smaller meals more often will help the size of your waist and practising vacuums religiously will help a little. It’s a bit more of a genetic thing and will depend on your bone structure! You could also adjust your posing to try and create the illusion that you have a smaller waist than you do.

Good morning, just out doing some cardio. Had a great chest and triceps workout yesterday. Still trying to figure out what split works best for us so trying some new things. Work was busy yesterday so trained later than usual and I’m busy again today so training late tonight. Going to hit back only tonight. Maybe some rest Delts and traps but no biceps.

Hi Reece! Don’t apologise buddy there are no topics on here I’m not happy to discuss so feel free to talk about anything you want buddy!!

With regard to the first question it’s not easy at times! I have this a lot when I’m training late in the day due to work! I try to remind myself how badly I want to win or grow or get lean or whatever I want to achieve at that time. I try to think about other people trying to achieve the same goal as me.. are they training harder? Dieting harder? Doing more? This pushes me beyond my own limits. I will give 100000% and I will know it’s not possible. It’s not possible for someone to be training as hard as me or dieting as hard as me or being as dedicated as I am! Dorian Yates has this mindset. You have to push yourself to a place where in your mind anything anything else is doing is not as much as what your doing. Because it’s just not possible. Also your environment, I’m not sure where you train. If you’ve ever trained at kings but it’s always busy, the musics is always blearing and everyone is always training hard and that motivates me to push hard and get the session done to my best ability. Having a training partner like James and Damien to push me through and push me harder. Being part of such a successful hard working team. I watch Jamie’s, Haider, Jordan, Corinne, Tim, Ryan, Clare, Kuba and Megan’s videos and everyone else on the sites progress and that motivates me. Take a look around you, there are people who have achieved and are achieving what you want to achieve right now. Look at them and use them for motivation when your feeling tired.

Thanks Louis looks good I like to include a arm workout every now and again in my push pull legs rotations like you said before it’s less taxing on the body than say a pull or leg day so it’s good for help when recovery isn’t at its best and can have less volume on the ppl building up to it [/quote]
Hey buddy! Great idea! It’s certainly helped with our recovery! Let me know how you get on!!

Good morning guys and girls! Just out doing my fasted cardio! Had a phenomenal leg workout at monster gym yesterday with James & Kevin. It was my first time meeting Kevin and I must say what a gentleman and the dude is huge!!! Much larger human being than I expected! Really strong too. It was great to meet him and train and him and discuss bodybuilding with him. Chris filmed for the site and we also had joe and Tim training legs along side us so you’ll get to see footage from both workouts! We also went to the amateur Olympia show after to watch mark and Ryan and show our support! Really impressed with Ryans posing he’s got such a classic old school looking physique it’s so great to have him on the team! Also mark is beast of a man! So much muscle on his physique he will hey his pro card soon! Any questions about the workout let me know! Have a productive day!
