Nothing wrong with eating oats post workout. However as Clare mentions something fast absorbing like cereal or fruit would be a bit more optimal.

Hi Ian, as James said I think Jordan has done a few videos on this so check them out. If it was me I would do a push dominant upper followed by a quad dominant lower then rest then do a pull dominant upper workout followed by a hamstring and glute dominant lower session followed by another rest day.

Good evening guys!! Rest day today, managed to get all the meals in today easily. Had a really productive chest and Delt workout yesterday so wanted to make sure rest was optimal today! Hitting PBs in the gym so want to make sure recovery is on point!

I paid £260 for mine however the accuracy was superb as it was taken privately and the response time was great. Also got given plenty of information on the exact results themself. So I didn’t mind spending the extra money. There are cheaper methods online but I’m not sure if I trust the quality and accuracy of the tests. So would rather spend an extra £100 and know I’m getting exact results.

I would say there’s nothing wrong with running for cardio. If your safely able to do so. I wouldn’t say many bodybuilders use it as I think LISS is chosen by many and HIIT. Any cardio will be beneficial.

Morning guys, just out doing my fasted walk. Fasted weight this morning was 92kgs so weight is going up. Had a good leg session yesterday it was a bit more hamstring dominant. Hitting chest and Delts today after work should be a good session as not feeling over taxed from doing legs yesterday. Is anyone down kings this weekend?

Hamstrings… not popular by us physique boys haha.. but a good hamstring contraction is life changing!

Hi Reece, I have a much better connection with my hamstrings than my quads! I love doing hammys!

    That amount is fine mate!!

150g of actual pure sugar is high mate, especially if this is his daily diet.
dam high actually if you see my above post or I would think so

It is a lot I have just under that amount daily but I have a lot of fruit, yoghurt and cereal in my diet which is all high in sugar! I’ve never suffered any health issues from this at all. Your the expert though so maybe you should lower it slightly GH01!!

Hi louis, currently doing push, pull legs, had been flying and making some real strength gains, but over the last week or so the wheels have fallen off. Started my new cycle 10 days ago and was hoping to take things to the next level but my strength, mindset and general motivation has dropped significantly.
I’ve increased carbs as well but I am having some marriage problems, so sleep hasn’t been good neither has appetite. So not sure if it’s more of a mental issue rather than physical.

Hi James, how do you feel your rest has been? Besides the sleep are you having enough days off the gym?

Hi Louis, in all honesty my rest is pretty shit, I find it hard staying out the gym. Trained every day so far this week , I know I should recover but my general mood proper suffers if I don’t train.
Maybe I should adapt to your approach and introduce an arm and calve day . Do you reckon 4 days training per week is optimal [/quote]
Hi James, I would definitely add in some complete rest days. Maybe split the week up a bit. If your not recovering or resting enough your not going to progress on your lifts!
